Lol you're still fast. I'm at day 70 now and still busy building and decorating the base.. and just started to have tier 3 weapons.

I know I'm late, but I've had Grounded for about a week and a half right now. I'm not even to the upper yard. I'm both thrilled at the gaming I have to look forward to, and completely emasculated by this video. My jaw hasn't closed since the video started

Is mild different to normal in the sense that if you die at the Javamatic it doesnt stop the brewing process? Or have they just changed it? I remember first time i tried this on Normal it reset the timer cause i died during the fight!

How does he regenerate stamina so fast though? And barely getting attacked by bugs and spiders! Running through the wolf spider den had me holding my breath I swear! This is not my experience and I don't understand this magic, but I want to!

How to Throw the weapon and catches it back immediately? Seem too difficult

Just wondering what the 1.3 patch would change on this. The only thing I can think of is you wouldn't be able to craft the Oak armor chest piece when you did.

​​​@@ibzorxxyeah but on easy/mild it's just running because nothing can really kill you. On normal the most creatures kill you with Tier1 Gear in one or two hits. So the movement is still impressive but to be honest it's just to learn where you have to go. Speedruns on other games are most on casual settings with normal difficulty.

This is a fantastic run and I believe that he could've gotten a better time if he perfectly executed this with less fails like he was nervous but im impressed. I wish to become a speedrunner myself but only have an xbox and cant record my time sadly but i do stream hopefully to become big, but big congrats man. U inspired me to keep trying

@@cestlavie8370 Oh I thought you meant some external program to increase movement speed or something. At the start you can see he creates the world on mild and at 25:33 you can see in the save menu it says mild instead of custom, so the first 25 minutes were definitely not custom. Can't see any save info for the rest of the run though so it could be spliced (I don't think it is). The glaring issue with using any custom settings though is that it would be immediately obvious, like no stamina drain or taking no damage. None of the settings are subtle enough to be both useful and unnoticeable, although I haven't updated to 1.3 yet so maybe there's some tomfoolery now possible with the new settings, will take a look eventually

cant be a world record unless its official in front of people and we see the Settings ahead of time

We saw him make the world and at 25:34 when he saves you can see it says Mild whereas it would say Custom if any settings had been changed, so the settings are standard mild difficulty settings. Could be spliced immediately after that when the game loads because there's no saves shown at the end of the run to show it's the same world and the splits could've been recorded and added in post, but what can we do? Grounded isn't a popular enough speed game to warrant being so strict with it or to warrant cheating. Run seems legit to me

@@JamieMcJapan The random health is from eating granola bars. Keep an eye on the hotbar and the number of granolas throughout the fight
