Always nice to see the channel visit a place well within the means of everyone. While the channel may never feature a video featuring a random hot dog cart, this might be as close as it comes. The bonus for me was the episode featured pork which I would nominate as the best "gateway meat" for soon to be former vegetarians. I'll admit that I had to search on SPF pork and confirmed it was not related to protecting pigs from the sun, 😅but rather those who consume the pigs, from disease. Hence the ability to have some flexibility on the cook time/length?

Yes! Sometimes affordable eats can bring just as much joy! When I first saw SPF, that's what I thought as well 😂
The premium way seems to be with still some pink meat towards the middle… but pork I like well done, nothing pink anymore. I wander if one can request it that way…. Other than this, everything looks really yummy! ❤ nice videos! Good Job!

I'm unsure if it's possible to request a different temperature, but they're so kind so it wouldn't hurt to ask! ☺️
def try Narikura next time. My favorite tonkatsu ever.

I've tried it last year and it's my favorite tonkatsu too!
how does this place measure up to narikura?

Narikura is a more refined experience with higher-quality pork, served in courses so the tonkatsu is enjoyed at its best temperature. On the other hand, Tonkatsu Aoki has a casual atmosphere with generous portions of high-quality meat, making it a more budget-friendly option

@@jennyfoodtravels I am def in favor of there being more casual, accessible places for tonkatsu! So this place is a welcome addition.
