Alpha does a good job at making the bad options seem cringe to his audience. He'll constantly make comments that are essentially "well you could pick the bad option if you were boring". Basically manipulating his audience to give him the encounter he wants.

Whoever made the Excadrill at 19:20 was actually COOKING. Stomping Tantrum doubles in power if your previous move misses or fails. If the game sees the Truant turn as a "failed move" Stomping Tantrum will ALWAYS be 150 Power. I have no clue if it works that way or not, but even if it doesn't work, I still think that's a pretty creative idea for a Pokémon.

@@Talynen Stomping Tantrum would be 150 Power if the game sees Truant as a “failed move”. Earthquake is 100 Power. Stomping Tantrum would do more damage than EQ outside of the first turn when you send the Excadrill out into battle.

@@landonsmith7057 Yes, but you are missing every second turn still. Earthquake has less power, but you get to attack every turn. In the two turns it took Truant Stomping Tantrum to hit 150 power, Earthquake has gotten off the equal of 200 power. This is consistent through every set of two turns.

@@dogma32 You would be correct if we were talking about a normal Excadrill. I just thought it was cool that someone tried to make a Pokémon that can be good despite having a bad ability. Giving it a move that would be powered up BECAUSE of Truant is a lot more interesting than just giving it EQ without Truant, which would just be a normal Excadrill at that point.

33:40 I'm pretty sure judgment does actually change to ghost because of the spooky plate. The won't change the holder's type like it does with arceus, but it'll still change judgment's typing. This was the primary reason people ran spooky plate and judgment on normalize gengar in gen 7 hackmons, as it imposter proofs gengar and helps it wall impostor chansey.

The misdreavus was probably supposed to have Never-ending nightmare (the ghost z move) It might work when you get the ghostium z but I'm not sure

33:35 Judgement WILL change types depending on the Plate, regardless of what Pokémon is using the move and holding the Plate. The move will still be displayed as Normal Type, but the move will match the type of the Plate. I've done a Randomizer Nuzlocke where I used Emboar w/ Judgement + Flame Plate and it was a Fire Type move. I think he's confusing it with Arceus' Multitype Ability that changes his type; only Arceus can do that.

Yup, after the first truant, it always doubles in power.

I remember watching one of these viewer/streamer submitted pokemon runs where the pokemon sent in were giving to the NPC trainers for the player to fight, which was super fun to watch. I think if Alpha does another of these runs it'd be cool to use the eggs for both his party and the encounter trainers so we could see more pokemon and it would also make the run more exciting knowing that at any moment some random bugcatcher could have the most broken pokemon a chatter can think of.

Since the type of judgment depends on the plate the user is holding, that Judgement Gengar truly did have it as ghost type.

I have an idea for a future egglocke What if you do a randomizer so each trainer has a completely random Pokémon with random moves and natures That way everyone has completely bizzare Pokémon so it's balanced and there's a chance for even the overpowered Pokémon to end up in a bad situation
