@_Area-51 Speaking as a pensioner. This government has looked after me, thanks. I received 10.5% and 8.5 % rises in the last 2 years. Not forgetting the winter fuel allowance, which was significant. So no your wrong about them not looking after pensioners. Any pensioners whinging will be the ones who took the lump sum when they retired and blew it away on whatever. It could, though, be pensioners on the basic or less who hardly did a day's work in their lives. There are 6 million now on Universal credit, so that's one big headache for any incoming government. Those are the future whinging pensioners. I do, though, feel sorry for single parents who have young kids to bring up and still have to work. That must be hard.

@_Area-51 The people claiming benefits are mostly our own. Not the legal migrants. Those who come from Hong Kong and Afghanistan, etc, have proven to add billions to the economy. Unfortunately, there are far too many cash in hand jobs around and benefit cheats within the British population. I'd love to know what jobs these hate marchers do. They must be cushy. The illegals are another story they are not legally allowed to work. Equally, they can't be kept in prisons. That's why they have easily been allowed to disappear. If they do, they can't receive money from the state waiting until their asylum applications are sorted. They can and will be found, though, if they get deported to Rwanda. Which is happening now in readiness for flights taking off. That's unless the lefties and legal profession somehow stop it again. It will be many, many years before, if ever the retirement age, is 75. That's exadurating to some tune. Equally, being able to retire in your early 50s has got to be questionable and a strain on the state, meaning we have to import people with their varying skills to replace them. 35 years should be looked at when it comes to state pension eligibility.
