@James Henderson Wrong. An article by the Mayo Clinic, dated earlier this year (2020) clearly states that they still don't know exactly what causes pancreatic cancer. Risk factors are not the same as causes. Virtually everything we touch, breathe or eat could be a risk factor for some type of cancer, but very few of those are actually known to cause cancer. Again, you spread negativity and feed the ravenous rumor mill.

I was 10 years old when he died (I am now 22). Still can remember it clearly as if it were yesterday, with his picture all over the magazines at the stores. At 10 years old, I was FAR too young to understand what pancreatic cancer was, and what damage it could do to people. Now that I lost a few family members to Cancer myself, I know what it is like really. RIP man. Sorry your life was cut short by this awful awful disease.

While growing up in Houston, Patrick and I shared godparents, our dentist, Dr. Oscar Durham and his wife. As kids, out family would go to the doctors parties and Patrick always showed up in a leisure suit, one time light blue, at other times, pastel yellow. He was the dancer even then, impressing most everyone with his style and humility. Patrick was sweet, kind, never rowdy. Decades later, I moved to Las Vegas, New Mexico, in the mountain communities West of the town. Patrick had his horse ranch near my cabin. And by chance, at the local Safeway in town, we meet, and he immediately recognized me. We had a great conversation and planned on getting together. Within a week, Patrick had his devastating horse riding accident. He was charming and kind, no different from his youth, his fame and fortune had not changed him. My female cousins played extras in Red Dawn, and they hung out with him and partied during the shoot. We were all despondent for weeks after his untimely death. What a great guy he was!

Never met him I wish I had he sounds like a great great person someone who really cares about humanity and other people regardless if he was a famous actor or not! That makes it even better from what I hear he truly cared about other people! Because these days it seems like if people care about other people they think they're weak which is the exact opposite to me I believe it makes you stronger and I believe that's what he was

I believe ppl never were able to look at him beyond the sexy, hunky, handsome man that was in front of them and really see that he was a actor with many layers desperately wanting to be taken seriously for roles that were other than just sex symbol.. He had a lot to give as a actor than just a good looking face.

Amazing actor, amazing man...I miss Parick! He was (for me will always be!) the angelic man that charmed the silver screen with his presence. In this short video I took a closer look at his eyes, those beautiful but yet worried eyes and I can't believe how hypnotizing those eyes are. :) I hope to watch the full documentary somehow. Looking forward to know how my other beloved actor - Sam Elliott - was talking about Patrick. :)
