I think hating on everything takes too much energy. Sometimes it's better to leave things alone and move on. It's similar to how i feel about cringe culture, sometimes things are so ridiculous you have to laugh instead of taking it so seriously, also it's way better to let people be if they're not harming anybody. There are certain things we definitely can't/shouldn't ignore which is completely natural and fair depending on what it is. It's also unrealistic to think you won't have a single negative thought or petty things to say, some people suck ass and i will talk shit if i want to. So i won't hate on everything but i will hate on some things, after all i am bitter by nature.

one day i was being a hater (per usual) in math class and this kid looked at me and said "damn why are you so miserable" and i was like "woah why am i so miserable" inside my head ofc. and #1 that person has no room to talk bc hes a big hater and #2 i really do need to fix my attitude towards the world. im unhappy with myself, and everything irritates me so much that im just a big hater. we can get through our character development together ben 😭🤞🏼

MY DRAMA: my “best friend” kept sending me voice notes of her crying about a certain person. when i said i didnt have any way to help her because she would never listen to what i had to say, she would kick off at me and say she didnt want my help. its a situation where of she doesnt get what she wants then she kicks off. ive told her how she’s made me feel as this has happened for over a year now and now shes blanking me completely in person yet claims i’m her best friend over message even though ik this isn’t true. idk what to do anymore. lysm ben 💖

theres some people who need help but wont accept it when they NEED it or WANT it theres other ways to help tho like your solution "look gurly im sorry but i cant help you if you wont listen" or "gurlll...if you wont accept my help then....🤷🏾‍♀" or you could approach her with more options like "uh ok is there anythign you would want me todo in certain ways🧍🏾‍♀?" or " do you want me to give you solutions?🧍🏾‍♀" other than that if she doesnt stop shes either doing it for attention or really is hurt and cannot be helped.

my drama: so basically I was best friends with this girl (She was really senstive) and she had this friend who was rlly mean especially to me and my "best friend" would roll her eyes at me and such so i cut her off and she comes to me i tell her how i feel and she says she will do her best to do better and so all was good until...... she was asking about her birthday get together and i was like "well i dont wanna go bc so and so is going to be there and she hasnt apolgized for being mean but ill go bc ur my best friend" (obviously i told her to keep it a secret) the she goes off tells the girl and when i confront her she lies to me even though i heard them talking about it and she tries to apologize after i tell her that i know she is lying and i told her no u said sorry two days ago ur not rlly sorry and she went and cried and told her mom ( a teacher at our school) who then sent passive agressive texts to my mom and the girl and her friend are still mean to me to this day and its been like 6 months

Hey Ben! This isn't really new and this situation been going on for a while, and as a very socially awkward I was wondering if you had any advice for what happened. I had a classmate who made me very, very uncomfortable. He liked me for two years and teamed up his friend (we'll call him Alex) to try to get us in a relationship. Alex thinks i liked him but i never did. He won't ever really stop ranting about how rude he thinks I am for simply standing up for myself and telling him that he's making me uncomfortable.
