Love my 2020 Limited Palisade with htrac. It is a very impressive car. The feature I like the best and which is never mentioned in video reviews I’ve seen is the blind spot monitoring incorporated into the heads-up-display. What a great idea. Other SUV’s in this category just don’t measure up to the Palisade from a technology standpoint IMO. 10k miles with no problems. (I also own a 2017 Hyundai Ioniq Limited with 70k miles with never even a squeak or rattle. Hyundai reliability has been top notch for me.)

Negative service experiences are common amongst all brands, but Hyundai is notorious for having amongst the worst, and Hyundai has acknowledged this. A lot of these dealers got a franchise when Hyundai was still a nobody in the industry, selling cheap value cars that nobody wanted. But these dealers haven't matured their attitude now that is a Hyundai is a world-class mainstream brand. That hasn't stopped me, my family, and many of my friends from getting a Hyundai but the issue persists.

Great review. Recently purchased a 2022 Palisade Calligraphy AWD: but there are still some areas for product improvement: add power folding exterior side mirrors, add sunglass holder in interior and add illumination for the overhead light buttons above driver and front passenger (the POI buttons are illuminated but the light buttons aren't, that's odd and an omission in form/function) and those rims on calligraphy trim are a bit 'loud', design something more classy the ones on current and previous Limited trim); and last but not least, consider adding hybrid powertrain as is offered on many other Hyundai products.

@@jtderby That's true, but in my experience, in-car wifi platforms have much stronger signals because they use large (and more numerous) antennas. If you're around town in an area with good coverage, phone tethering tends to work just fine. If you're out in the sticks, as you often are on a long-distance drive, then built-in embedded wifi is the way to go. I can't tell you how many times I've been on video shoots for these car videos where we all end up tethering off of a car because our scenic location is too far off the grid for our phones to get decent-quality signals. In any case, your point about it being cheaper and more readily available is certainly a good one. Thanks for taking the time to comment, hope you enjoyed the video.

There's a class action lawsuit on excessive oil consumption. Dealers now saying 1 quart of oil per 1000 miles is normal??? It only holds 6 quarts. At that rate of usage you would have already have put in 7.5 quarts of oil by the time of your recommended 7,500 mile oil change. Add carbon build-up, misfiring, stalls, engine starting issues, check engine lights and failed engines from loss of oil and you now have a more accurate picture of the Hyundai Palisade and KIA Telluride. It's all over the internet search again.
