It is one of the best in class segment car with all bells and whistles. I own the car and I am enjoying the hassle free City Commute with embedded tech easing my life. The AC is one of the best and better than Compact SUV or SUV segment. The rear space is a surprise package and it is better than Punch, Venue, Sonet and Nexon. Any car shall have few negatives and Exter is no exception but these small micro negatives does not damp the overall experience of the Car. Just Go For It if your budget is 9 - 12 Lakhs.

how about rear seating space, is it comfortable for 3?

I own Exter AMT and have driven 3K already, it's one of the best car, easy to drive, very comfortable, engine is smooth, back seat very comfortable, seats are hard but once you get adjusted to it you won't get tired i have experienced this. Fun to drive, family car with good bootspace, paddle shifter,cruise control,sun roof for kids, good front and rear AC, and reasonable music system. After-sales and service is one of the best, you will have peace of mind with this car for sure. I drove city,highway, hairpin curves, rough roads trust me back suspension is very good it won't hit at all, and easy steering makes easy to drive in hairpin curves and fun to drive.

For 5 stars - Punch For best features, reliability, engine, smooth amt , good after sales service, peace of mind - Exter

I think that WagonR is the real/practical competitor for Exter.

Is exter amt good for first time driver?

I bought Exter SX O AMT by 19th Dec drove 1000+ Km as of now, some points are true, seat is hard, driving comfort, AMT gearbox is owsm, Padel shifter response is great. And regarding rear suspension not only Exter u can see the same in other Hyundai sedan cars like verna, xcent, Aura too but it doesn't make any hit when we bump into breakers.

Punch is a 👊 to exter. Exter is just a nios with all its things accomodated inside a higher raised feel like platform. Plus back of exter looks odd for me.

What are the costs of i20 & Venue? Exter gives most value for money in the sub 10 lakh segment. I have done weeks of research on this.

Gear shift, lag, jerk, paddle shifters, stability, inpar toh kuch bataya he nahi..

Exter is best more spacious it’s a car not lohe ka dabba

I will go with Punch .........as I have driven both the cars .... Overall punch is a great package in this segment

Me too but backseat of exter feels more comfortable and they have rear AC vent which punch don't have .. except 5 star rating and premium dashboard punch doesn't offer much

Correct but by that logic no one should buy car other than tata and few Mahendra but the majority of people buy Suzuki 😄

@@nepotzI think for a city commute Exter is best choice. It’s AMT is better than punch and it comes with lots of features which punch doesn’t have and also engine is better in Exter. Overall value for money car.

Punch anyday...as it feels more solid secured n value for money...exter looks n feels just like a hatchback n it narrow also...feel it yours by checking it yourself

Nissan magnite better than punch n exter

Worst sitting comfort

Tata punch only for build other sucks…hyundai best at everything build sucks
