Holy shit. That cable clean up was straight up wizardry.
KZread is the fuckin best. Haven't built a rig in a while? New futuristic case in my build? Oh no worries, there's a fucking clear step by step tutorial on how to build my exact case. Thanks man, shoutout all the youtube learners and teachers changing the way humans learn.
3 days a go I built my PC with the help of your video and I would like to genuinely thank you so much for this video which is amazingly helpful! :) Great job, you are the best! Best of luck!
Just stopping by to say: Thank you for making this guide! I built my first ever PC in this case about two months ago (I'm using it now!) and this guide was incredibly helpful and easy to follow.
Congratulations on the 50K! Glad to see you look at this case, been hoping you would for a closer look at it.
Concise instructions with fantastic camera work. Thank you for showing how to plug in ALL the cables. 💖
Your content is really good. Definitely the most thorough guide I've seen with the best close up shots and general detail shots from all angles.

bro hasn't watched linus tech tips's video
you know, you go more into detail than other builders thank you
I love this case. haven't watched yet, but eager to see what you think and how it builds. I'm so happy you're doing this!
Commenting from my finished HYTE Y60 build in black thanks to your tutorial! Keep doing what you doing bro
Hey Christopher excellent video as always. Two years ago I watched your build on lian li mesh cool II and I built my first pc. Today I watch this build as I attempt to move my new rig into the hyte y60. Cheers!
I really like the way and also the detail you go into with your builds - these would be highly beneficial for novices! Thanks Christopher.
You attention-to-detail video and step-by-step write up where really helpful and much appreciated!
This is my first time coming across and watching your video. This video is probably one of the best and the only video that I can actually follow through. Well explained, shows where to plug in cables. aughhhhhh!!!!!! Where were you when I was building my pc😭 the amount of time I had to rewind and watch tutorials is crazy. Keep up the amazing work and content man! This deserves a like and subscribe!🙌
Learned more about the Hyte Y60 from this video than I did like 10 other videos I watched before this. Great video, very informative, earned a like and sub.
Just ordered mine for my first full build. I'll be using this as a guide for sure. Thanks bro.
Congrats on the channel growing, another great build/review
Thank you so much for this video! Extremely helpful and thorough. I appreciate how you walk through the process concisely and explain yourself in few words. Bonus to linking the motherboard setup. 10/10 video. Subscribed
Love the build and review of the case! Thank you so much for doing this video. Super helpful 💛

Your videos are excellent. You always answer every question I have and your production quality is brilliant. Thank you
This was very helpful, thanks. Looking forward to more builds from you!
Just got a Y60. Your vid is a godsend. Thanks! Subscribed.
Congrats for another great build Christopher!! Always nice to see you ''building''. The case is outstanding but even more outstanding is the idea of a single cable for power/reset/led etc...at last someone thought of it!!!

aiutami a capire. nella tua assemblea : Lian Li Uni Fan SL120 (6 pieces) ? Lian Li Uni Fan SL140 (2 pieces) ? AIO costume?
Big help building out this case for the first time. Thank you for your hardwork.
Just a tip for anyone following. I am doing a similar build, so first thank you, this guide is so helpful, first one that doesn't gloss over stuff. Anyway the best fan config I found is with the SL infinity Uni fans, they offer a reverse blade so you can have all fans without the X through them. Looks amazing and my temps are nice and chilly :) Good luck fellow fish tank builders this case is wicked.
Video saved! Building a new PC with the same case, and your video is of great help
This case looks really interesting. Thank you for the great video.
Great video Man, was building my 1st PC and this video helped me a lot. Keep it going, tks! 👏🏼
Nice vid chris & im gonna use this this vid as a guide to do my new Hyte build...cheers mate.
thanks man, I really needed this video. Huge help!
Thank you so much for this video! I just got the snow-white one! 👍
Thx, gonna follow along with my own y60 build this weekend. Thx
Thank you for the in-depth build/review. I will force my GPU horizontally using spacers and a GPU holder.
Congrats on 50k! 🥳
Congrats on the 50k subs!
yoo, i am actually building in my hyte y60 case with this video rn. AND HOLYYY SHIT YOU HELPED ME SO MUCH cuz alot of tutorials kinda rush through it or take like 3 hours, so thankyou so much i am almost done, just the videocard :)
Hey man, I just wanted to say Thank you for your amazing work! I just build my second computer using your videos as guide.
This is SUPER useful. Great production valau as well. Thank you for sharing.
Great find this, going to be my next build.
I just wanted to thank you again because i got a 3 pack of 120's and i never realized 140's would fit much better and be so much more astatically pleasing!
excellent job, enjoy your builds and Thank You
Congrats on hitting 50k! I don't know what was different about this video but the audio has an echo.
im so glad i found this. you have helped me so much thank you
Did anyone else notice his final build he changed the 2 140mm fans from exhaust to intake? I'm guessing his temps were not optimal so he had to change them from exhaust to intake?

OHHHHH yes, you are exactly what I'm looking for. As I get closer to actually building (parts spread on floor now) small details are arising.
Fantastic walk through!
Congrats on 50k subs :D
Building my first pc soon with this case. Gonna use this as reference.
That was very helpful. Thanks!
Just wanted to say thank you for this video. I picked up the Hakos Baelz edition of the Y60 when it released and have been sitting on it all this time. I wanted to find a step-by-step build using this case and this video delivered in spades. A few comments from a complete newb that might help others: - An Intel CPU is used here so it'll be a little different on an AMD CPU for the AIO cooler. -Don't remove the plastic cover on the heatsink connected to the AIO cooler until you're going to install it as that's where the thermal paste is. There may or may not be a finger print on mine. -And the biggest one for me: The motherboard here has the I/O shield (backplate thing) pre-installed so that step is not mentioned. It needs to be installed BEFORE the motherboard is installed. Ask me how I know. Even if you're following a detailed video, read the instructions for all of your components. 😬 Seriously though, thanks for the video. Especially loved the close up shots when connecting the cables to the mobo. It was very helpful.
thank you so much, this video has been a godsend
Very helpful video. Thank you.
Hey thanks for your help with this!
Christopher, your video is spectacularly detailed! I've watched tons of vids on AIO and custom cooler for the Y60. This video of yours is well beyond what everyone else is doing, in terms of completeness, accuracy, and presentation. What I intend to do differently is have a custom loop to water-cool the GPU and CPU, and add an internal sensor display. I definitely agree on using 140mm fans instead of 120mm at the bottom and side.

dimmi se metti Lian Li GALAHAD AIO 360 SL RGB V2 White andrà bene?
Bought this case and mother board so this is probably the best video Out there for me
I was thinking about going with an a red case with all-red rgb, thanks for the video
Hi from France .... Thank You for this nice video .... :)
Looks pretty sick!
Congratulations 🥂🍾
“Hears NI accent” subbed, nice to see a successful channel from home
Excellent video
Sweet build! Still contemplating if I should get this case 😅
The best feature of this case is the huge amount of space you have to stash the cables.
If your concerned about GPU Temps. "ColdZero" do a glass front/side at the GPU intake for this case, with a cut out which allows outside air to the GPU fans.
I trust you with every cell in my body
Love the instructional video. TY. I will say that the angled screw placement at 24:40 made me cringe lol. You can also install 3 fans on the side panel as well. There's guide on here that show how to. I can't wait to build my y60 in the next few weeks.
got lost when he said "two ate e-e-pin-es cables" did he say 2, 8 pin- aps cables?
Beautiful build. Super informative as well! Quick question, will an internal capture card fit in this case? I’m using an Avermedia 4K
Thanks so much for your help.. Built my 1080P endgame machine.... :D
Very well done - detailed, informative, and no stupid comedy. English was hard to understand now and then, but I was able to get most of it. Thank you, Chris.
Awesome video, thank you! One suggestion- could you edit it so the GPU cable issue ~24min isn’t repeated by the next viewer?
Hi Chris , did you keep with the current airflow about to start this case build. Great video thank you
In case anyone is curious about the 4090 in this case, pasting my comment after installing my GPU earlier: Can confirm the Gigabyte Windforce 4090 fits without issue (listed at 70mm wide, very close to glass and I would imagine max would be like 72mm). My PC: Ryzen 7 5700x, 32 GB Ram, Gigabyte Windforce 4090, Seasonic Focus Gold 1000W PSU, 2 sata ssd and 1 nvme ssd, NZXT Kraken Z73 vertically mounted, 7 fans total with the rear and top set to exaust, side and bottom set as intake. Set fans to "high" settings on NZXT and Lian Li software, but setting to standard made little to no difference. (I run all my games at 4k 120Hz on my LG C1) Results from running the following games at max settings (I run all my games at 4k 120Hz on my LG C1) : -Elden Ring (Never hit max load, 50 C) -Red Dead Redemption 2 (Ran benchmark which was sustained 100% load, no issues with max temps around 67 C, also ran gameplay with no issues) -Cyperpunk 2077 (ran benchmark, have not played through real gameplay yet but temps were low the whole time 68 C) -God of War PC (Was able to have the game sustain 100% load in the area where you can change realms at the table, left it like that for about 10 to 15 min, was able to have game ramp up to and top out at 80 C, but could not get it to go past this temp.) Hope this helps someone! Note: be careful when installing the GPU, its big and heavy. I broke the locking mechanism on my Hyte Y60 vertical mount :( might need to buy new riser cable from Hyte directly.kzread.info/dash/bejne/h36hrJd_krybgrw.html

Thanks! Had many people say the 4090 would not work for this case not because it won't fit but because thermal would be very bad. There is a special edition of this case I might want and was worried if i get a 4090 at some point but thanks for clearing htat up!
Awesome video, thank you! One suggestion- could you edit it so the mistake ~24min isn’t repeated by the next viewer?
Hey mate nice video. I am planning to follow your exact built but I have one question, Will the fans that came with LS720 touch ram sticks or pop inside the case too much ruinin the view? Also, If I use stock fans of AIO can I still link RGB to look same?
That build came out looking amazing! I’ve been thinking of doing a build in this case but with a 280mm rad on the side. What would be a setback of doing it like that?
@williamkinsey
Жыл бұрын
That’s the direction I went. No setbacks at all. Common setup is for the side radiator to be intake along with all the other fans with the three roof fans as the hot air outage fans. That way you have positive pressure and hot air rises.
Hi there! The cable mod link for the pcie custom cables. How long do the 8+8+8 cable have to be when getting them customized? Thanks for your knowledge!
Thank you sir
Thanks I have subbed. Great build explanation on the y60! I just bought this case for a swap, adding a eiswolf gpu cooler to my 6900xt and going to try to integrate the drgb in my kraken z63 aio on the 5800x with the motherboard msi tomahawk mag b550 jrainbow headers. Any suggestions? Nxzt cam seems to only work on the kraken in my existing case. Any work around?
did you use the Lian Li controller for the fans RGB? im looking at doing a similar build and also adding in their Strimer Plus V2 RGB cables
Your motherboard and cpu happens to be the components I’m getting in that exact case!
4:30 do the bottom fans have to be standard 25mm thick or can they be thicker? If thicker, what is the maximum thickness? thanks!
When you ran your testing, did you have the side over on? Having the GPU vertical brings it pretty close to the glass if you have a 3 slot card. HYYT recommends this case for full water builds. I wouldn’t use this if the GPU was air cooled. I bought it specifically because I did a water build.
thanks for the video , looking back do you think the GPU needs some support to avoid it drooping down ?
Clean beautiful build, I really enjoyed your Y40 but I can't figure out how you got your hands on those 140 SL-Infinity fans XD
This "kiss" is amazing 😍😍 🤣🤣🤣
Hey Christopher how’d you get the color combination for your Y60? I like the navy blue & white, but Hyte does not have that option
Why didn’t you just get Lian Li AIO Cooler instead? You got all the Lian Li fans going on. Nice build btw. 👍
if you do not have enough argb or rgb headers, you can buy splitters cheap at walmart or whatever equivalent stores you have in your region. Single 3 pin argb header only supports 3 amps on my mobo, so a 3-long aio + 3 case fans was a little over for me. Got a splitter and was good to go. Electricity is weird. This guy has 2 argb on his board so no splitter necessary to stay under max. Mobo->3pin argb splitter splitter->fan->fan->fan splitter->aio is what end result looks like for me
you saved me i was about to buy 2 200mm fans
Everything looks great but my OCD is killing me. Please tell me you fixed that screw to the PCIE lock when you screwed the riser cable in at 24:40
What size is that Radiator? For some reason on newegg I'm only finding 322mm or 394mm as the closest options to the 360mm spec listed for the case.
Was that glass panel sticker hard to remove or did it leave sticky residue on the glass?
I know this video is old, but just to make sure, you said you’d set the top radiator fans to exhaust and the two side fans to intake for best cooling correct ? I just finish my first build and want to make sure I get the best cooling
It would be nice to see how the temps would be for a 2800mm AIO set as intake on the side, and then just 3 120mm fans on the top set to exhaust.

That's what I was just thinking. I originally went for the artic II freeze 360 but it didn't fit, unfortunately that's not the first time (I really wanna know what case that monster fucking fits into)
I should’ve payed attention. While building, my z73 wasn’t fitting due to my MB but after I rage quit and decide to come back tomorrow, I find out that you can take the top bracket off for the radiator 🤦🏻♂️
honestly that case is no doubt aesthetically beautiful, I would love to have one and replace my O11D mini but those huge open gaps at pcie slots are just a big NO. house lizards at my home tends to crawl inside my pc to stay warm.

What are the white one cables you are using to connectt motherboard and GPU? Looks so nice!
Hello, what would be the best way to install another m.2 ssd in this build? I’m assuming the best way is to take out the gpu and the riser.
Would it be possible to put a push pull configuration with the aio in this case?
