Hyrule Field is also the theme of Link. Through the story, Hyrule Field always plays when there is something related to Link, MIdna's lament is Link and Midna, so, Hyrule Field + Midna's theme.

@@maggiethetompug1409I haven't heard of an official name for this theme, but it does appear in several places in the game. Here's a few: Saving Colin, Carriage Escort, Howling Duet #6, and Staff Credits 1.

Beats Ocarina of Time imo, that hyrule field theme was plain annoying. Breath of the wild's one was ok, a link between world's one was kinda repetitive.

As someone who grew up with all the older Zelda games, I have to say that Twilight Princess has the best Hyrule Field theme. I don't think anything is as powerful as 3:18

I think this song carries more weight based on how dire the situation was in TP. Link in TP was so much more courageous than any other iteration before and after. Everything from his stance to the way he handles his blade to his armored tunic. The way he stares down his opponents with not a twitch in his sword. What a freaking badass. He's the closest you get to "knight in shining armor" in a Zelda game. I liked the sword flair animations you could do. It added even more depth to his character. I also liked his voice in that game. He was a lot more mature, for sure.

@@sledgedragon2677 And I love the way the tutorial was made, even if it was long and mundane for second playthroughs, it worked well to build Link's character as a normal farmboy.

Those first 3 seconds omg... I can just see it, Link and Epona are galloping through the plains together as Link heads towards another quest with a determined look on his face. Meanwhile at 3:18 Link and Epona are just speeding over the hills for the hell of it, enjoying the wind in their hair and the fiery sunset warming their skin.

I gotta be honest Ocarina of time is my favorite zelda game/video game. But this song is just so DAMN GOOD Every time i go on a long car trip or even just hiking i love to play this song because it just Screams Adventure

No other Zelda game had an amazing OST for Hyrule field. TP was the perfect sequel for Oot and MM. i still remember that evening, in 2007, that i played this game for the firts time and heard this song. I stood hours roaming around the map just for listening to this tune.

That doesn't go with me. I would say Mother 3 has a bit better soundtrack but you have to play the game first before hearing the song. If you beat the game, the songs are gonna hit differently.

Ocarina of Time gave us Courage. Majora's Mask gave us Sadness. Wind Waker gave us Determination. Skyward Sword gave us Love. Breath of the Wild gave us Adventure. But it was Twilight Princess that gave us the reasons to feel these emotions.

This is what plays in my head whenever I ride a horse in any video game, whether it be another Zelda, RDR, Minecraft, or Skyrim. This, to me, will forever be the definitive horse-riding anthem.

This music makes my entire body to shudder. Such good memories.

I find it so cool how this song was the song that inspired me to start playing bassoon (instrument with melody at 0:44 - 0:50, 1:33 - 1:37, and 1:41 - 1:47 ) in school. A truly inspiring piece of music.

I remember the time I started learning this on piano. My teacher later changed it to Zelda's lullaby, because my coordination wasn't good enough to do all the jumps in the left hand this song requires. I played the lullaby for recital, and it was one of the coolest things I've ever done. I gave some adults nostalgia.

I can’t BELIEVE this game got so much shit for using MIDI samples. This song is SO AWESOME and although there are a couple orchestra covers of it that I like, nothing quite recaptures this original, epic sound

I remember when I was a kid I thought that the song changing when you entered combat was really neat.

Nostalgia, epicness, and great music. This is the best hyrule theme ever in the history of anything

I still remember when I first played the game in 2012. It is so nostalgic to hear this song again. The sad thing is, once you played a game, you will never get the feeling you had when playing it the first time.

This theme is so beautiful I was always so happy in this game when I got to get out into the field and hear this theme.

This is my very favorite game, and I’ve played close to a thousand different games. Out of every Zelda game I’ve played this on has always had a special place in my heart

for anyone wondering what the theme at 3:18 is called: Courage It’s also in the last wolf howling stone, but then it’s orchestrated and called “ballad of twilight” in my opinion one of the best (if not THE best) songs from this game.

To this day, this is still my favorite Hyrule Field theme in any Zelda game, especially when on the horse

Don't play this game, because it's too good. You'll regret beating it and already want to forget it all and play again. It's that good

Hard to decide between this and OoT's Hyrule Field theme. OoT gave the sense of a grand world and adventure. TP gives the sense of a grittier more dangerous world that you're navigating in stride, but there's a looming sense of sorrow/loss in the distance.

I was practicing 3 random notes on my flute when I realized that when I added a fourth, it sounds like the opening notes of this theme. I was really surprised when it was in the same key as this, too! I can’t escape Zelda 😅

Twilight Princess’s soundtracks are so nostalgic. Seriously, I just love how old it sounds.

This is the better version of Oot Hyrule Field. Both are legendary.

I remember around Winter 2020, I stepped into Hyrule Field in Twilight Princess and when I heard this song, a rush of adrenaline rushed through me and carried me throughout the whole game. To this day, I still just hop on Twilight Princess to ride around Hyrule Field.

This theme has variants for whether you’re riding a horse and/or are in battle. It also not only has an intro for when you enter the field in day, but also cues for moving from day to night and vice versa.

When I first played Twilight Princess and stepped into Hyrule field, this theme really made feel like a true hero, so much so that I get goosebumps everytime I hear it, makes it all the more better to save Hyrule while listening to this!

breathe of the wild could be perfect, if it had a good OST. it doesnt have. man, they could just copy paste it. This is a masterpiece

i agree, but nothing can convince me the hyrule castle theme in botw isn’t a genuine masterpiece

Playing Twilight Princess themes while playing BOTW and TOTK in their respective areas just makes the game so much better

Twilight Princess holds magic that no other Zelda game has. I will always love this game no matter how much passion I hold for Breath of the Wild. Also, 690th comment. N I C E

I’ve been recently been playing twilight princess and I’ve gotta say this game is friggin awesome. Stuck on Snowpeak Mansion tho.
