yeah, energy superpower as we still have empty shopping shelves, people having to live in their caravans, cars or tents, line ups around the corner for rental applications, banks not carrying cash or not allowing large withdrawals, EFTPOS machines being removed, bank branches closing altogether, power blackouts, and outrageous electrical bills - when we have an epic amount of coal just sitting there in the ground. Why is TREASON the first word that pops into my mind when contemplating these two clowns??

I have a 10.5kw solar system, it puts out 8.3kw max. On a cloudy day it puts out 1.4- 3.7kw. Cloudy with drizzly rain is the lesser, no breeze. Still it's ok for a grid supported house, useless for industry or reliability. The UK have a small problem with renewables they mostly get from Scotland. For 3 months the sun didn't shine and the wind didn't blow. They had to have insurances to cover this and the consumer has to pay. The backup gas fired stations have to be large enough to cover this enormous loss of renewables, and they have to have insurance for when the sun is out and the wind is blowing, and the consumer has to pay. So they have 4 or 5 power sources with coal and nuclear thrown in. The consumer has to pay for all of them.

South Australia's average electricity price so far this financial year is over 42% higher than in Victoria. So much for renewables being cheaper than coal!
