I derped with my timing at 55:35, preserving Lost in Maze for AFTER they crewed would have allowed me to completely shut down their attack that turn. Though then there would be two threats to deal with bc I'm not sure if the stun counter would remain onto the vehicle, anybody could clarify that? MTG is a complex beast.

Love the Magic videos! To answer the question, stun counters would remain on the vehicle after they switch back to being a noncreature and they would still prevent the vehicle from untapping. Counters remain on permanents when they change types and stun counters affect any type of permanent. Counters would even stay on if they don't affect the new permanent type (example: vehicles can hold +1/+1 counters even when they aren't in creature mode). At the risk of making things more confusing, sometimes permanents changing types is accompanied by them leaving and re-entering the battlefield (example: the sagas that turn into creatures) in which case counters would fall off and the creatures would have summoning sickness. However, vehicles do not leave and re-enter when they change types (otherwise the vehicle would have summoning sickness and you'd never be able to attack with them).

If I'm not mistaken, If a permanent would untap (due to an ability or the untap step), it would lose its stun counter but remain tapped. So, at their next untap step, the vehicle would remain tapped but would lose the counter. Not sure if that answers the question!

Guy's, imagine when mogwai start to make brawl videos, this may be the most mindblowing field of oportunity to create crazy combos with great commanders!

Dude that's so crazy. I've been messing around with a Hylda deck for days now after starting to watch you play MTG again!! I don't play at all so I was looking for tap cards everywhere. That High Speed Hoverbike card sounds great for the deck. This deck looks great Mogwai. YOU COOKED!!

Mogwai I want you to know that for the last 9 years of being a card gamer (and board gamer) I managed to avoid getting sucked into the Magic the Gathering. And now I'm hooked. Curse you (but keep making the great content).

Calling game 5 as the final boss and having it be the longest match in the set, where you also get to play Hylda, is some craaazy premognition at work

It's been great to have you back. Been checking out your videos and they're great. Love that evil Laugh ;) If you get a chance, check out Ivy, Spell Thief, she's fun. I made a toxic deck around her using low cost cantrip spells and rot priests. Regardless, be cool, and happy gaming :)

For what it's worth - yesterday's Merfolk/Fblthp deck is pretty rotation proof - only the Boseiju in the land base is going to rotate (and could probably be safe to replace with a forest, though it is nice to have the answer for a problem enchantment).

@@MegaMogwai I finally got to see why Fblthp is in the deck (I'll admit, I was starting to doubt him), but then I came up against a monoblack 'removal tribal' and Fblthp provided so much card advantage that I was able to grind through them - really sweet deck :) (Also, I still use a version of your old Blood For Bones/Agent of Treachery deck in explorer - it's served me well for years :) )
