You should definitely get some. It is more than worth it. If you plan to fish those hot days and want it to be easy to clean fish slime and mud

Looks great. I want to do my 1754 soon. Apparently you can use a sander to make the cut edges smoother by the way! Saw it on somebodies installation video.

The color pattern looks awesome on your boat! Do you think outdoor storage with ATL heat would ruin the 3m stickiness?

I honestly am not sure, but I'm sure that it holds up well, 24hr prolonged exposure to the elements I have not tested. Can't say with any certainty, but if you plan to do that I would add the 3m adhesive glue as well as the the 3M backed hydroturf

It's a 1448 weldbilt flat bottom jon boat. I had a custom Floorplan installed. Bought it from backwoodslanding.com in Alabama

Do you keep it covered or garaged? I didn't hear you mention in the video.

I appreciate you watching. Yes, I keep it in my garage. Has really helped the hydroturf hold up longer, but I dont the turf would hold up long band on how well it is doing to date!

Can it be removed easy and replaced or is it one time ...nev er replacement

It can be removed but it's very difficult, it's 3m backing adhesive. I'm sure if you can use it again unless you use contact cement.

How bad does it absorb water?

It doesn't absorb water! The water rolls right off, I have used it in fresh and saltwater and can rely on the gunk and dirt to roll off with a little water and soap. It's holding up well.

@larrybalowski946 I'm not sure what you mean about 14ft long. But I purchased 3 sheets of hydroturf in the duck camo pattern from Hydroturf.com and used 2 and 1/4 sheets for my 14ft boat. The sheet is not 14ft long itself. The link is in my description.
