Not to mention, how willing you both are to share what’s worked for you and what hasn’t. This is what a KZread channel should be, sharing information in a collaborative way without always trying to sell something...how refreshing! I do have a question you may have already answered in previous videos..what size Oasis cubes are used in your propagation method? I see there are several cube sizes available and wanted to buy the ones shown in your setup..Oasis is an expensive part of the system. Bests to you both ! Stay Well and Stay Safe

I'm starting my lettuce seeds very similar to your process. Seeds in water soaked rockwool on a heating pad. So just to clarify, after you start to see the first formation of leaves you remove them and put them under light but do not feed any fertilized water until they move to the next racks? Or are they sitting in a light mix of water/fert in the second set of trays under the light? About how long do you keep them in that second stage inder the lights before moving to the grow out stage with full fert? Thanks for your videos. They have been very helpful.

Thank you so much for the video. I always look forward to your videos everyweek. I was waiting for it yesterday too. Glad to see this today. Questions: 1) what nutrients do you use for propagation? Is that different than the nft system nutrients? And if they are same, are they in same concerntration? 2) how frequently do you top the propagation and main reservoir. How does the math work for the topping the nutrients in terms of keeping ideal concentration and the volume in the tank? How frequently do you competely change the water? 3) In an event of power cut, how long before the plant roots start to dry? In other word, how much time do you have for starting pumps on generator without loosing any plants to drying? 4) when is the ideal time to clean main reservoir? And what is minimum size of the tank and volume of nutrients do you need for system such as yours? Do you use any cleaning agent to clean the troughs and tank? Pheww.. thats it for now. See you next week!!!

Yall have it all down to a science. How do you think the hydroponic stacks up against something grown in the ground as far as taste and nutrients? I know we get tomatoes here in the South that were grown in a greenhouse and they don't have much flavor. I have always been curious about that. The Hydro looks to be far superior as far as growing and ease of growing.

Also with regards to seeding... you mention that you double seed you Swiss chard??? It's my understanding that chard seeds are a berry and one berry can produce multiple plants. Are you using a processed seed, such as a pelleted seed or do you just use a regular berry but double up... @@Growwiththelaplantes Hi Wayne, you might recall that you and I spoke about water and growing a couple of months ago. I am in Georgia. Last week, a crew of three of us dismantled and relocated a guttered greenhouse. It is still just a pile of pipes and parts, but when it is reassembled, I'll send you and Patti a pic. Thanks for all your info transfer and openness.

Hi , does it matter for the plant if they are in a nursery tray or in a finishing tray ? Or is this just because a young plant does not need so much space .
