SMALL SPACE GROWING

SMALL SPACE GROWING

From growing in a larger scale market garden to growing in smaller spaces.

With the prices of produce skyrocketing, and quality being less than acceptable, we need to learn how to be self sustainable.

Dwain and I will show you how easy it is to grow your own delicious, healthy, beautiful produce at home, even in the smallest of spaces. It's actually very easy and inexpensive!

Anything is possible even when you have limited space. From raised bed deck gardening, indoor year-round gardening, microgreens, you name it!

It takes some soil, some containers, seeds, and light.
We are here to answer any questions you may have.

LET'S DO IT!

growth point has grown to about 3 feet long. Too late to clip off?

No, you can clip it off now. Just be sure to use snips or scissors on bigger ones rather than pinching it off.

Hi - nice video! A quick question - How do you manage pests in your greenhouse? I've been various greens and radishes in my basement with grow lights (super small scale) but end up with lots of gnats.

We would always use parasitic wasps and lady bugs. But I'm sure you don't want to use them in your house. Lol

Nice video. Is there a reason why you do not use basket cups in your system ? I thought it would be easier to replace the holes with the cups instead of having the produce put into the square tubes.

Soil over hydro any day for me. In hydro you are giving the plant what you think it needs. In soil the plant takes up what it knows it needs. I trust the plant over science. Science hasn't even discovered all the elements present in soil for us to pretend to know what a plant needs. There r nuanced flavours (aka nutrition) missing when growing hydro

I saw your video about a month ago and I had to come back and say thank you!!!! I've grown cucumbers and grew up with cucumbers in the garden BUT I never understood how much more manageable the process can be! You guys put it straight and short and that is so helpful. Very much appreciate your video. I've never pruned my cucumbers before and every year I'd end up in a tangled mess side stepping all over to harvest. This method works so well! I'm trellising mine and have a W shape trellis I've been training them up with tomato clips and pulling the suckers. They've about reached the topic my garden which is 6 ft. But I also created a trellis in front of my porch which is 10 foot 😂 people are going to get tired of me offering cucumbers by the end of this season. Thanks again!! You all are awesome ❤😊

Do you have to filter from fruit that's sunk to the bottom? The taste is the vinegar is good and it has a nice cloudy colour but I think by draining all the good stuff at the bottom is probably all the good stuff?
