Hydraulic perpetual wheel, perpetual motion Idea
Ғылым және технология
Before viewing, it is recommended to visit the toilet. Thanks😊
At least 3 of the 8 compartments are filled with liquid at any given time. This creates more torque on the right side causing continuous rotation.
The wheel drives the water pump through a gear transmission. The wheel has 8 compartments
for filling with water. The valve prevents the backflow.

It's just that a joke repeated many times ceases to be funny. And to be honest, the hardest thing after such pranks with batteries will be to believe that there are no batteries anywhere and that it spins on its own. You have driven yourself into a dead end with bias.
Nice build! Transparent, shows everything, and the dyed water helps even more. It would be good for a physics class demonstration, to show the pupils why perpetual motion could never work.

I think this would be a bad example for it not working. Infact if you had an electric water pump, and the turbine itself was actually able to generate electricity it would probably go forever. Until the water evaporated. Assuming the water didn't evaporate I see no reason this wouldn't work. Water pumps are pretty low on energy consumption and water wheels can power an entire house no problem.

@@Huzaku, I can safely say that it does not actually work, the Laws of Basic Physics state that "Energy cannot be Created or destroyed, it can only change form". It appears that you are not familiar with this concept or what it means, it means that you cannot get more energy out of a machine than you put into it and there is ALWAYS Friction, Inertia, Drag and other things that take energy away from the device. Just because it looks like it is 'working' does not mean that it is, ever heard of editing? That is what is happening here.

I feel like a more neutral gear ratio than that would be better. Seems like a lot of force to drive that tiny gear with the big gear being driven by a gentle stream of water each time Plus you can clearly see the stepped changes in speed that the motor powering this mechanism clicks at lol

i think the free flow technology is the best option and your water cap must be smaller to fill faster and rotate.
Good
The perpetual motions are good it runs for some time but what happens when the equilibrium is reached the systems come to halt because of frictional losses.

It is disappointing but I think this particular type fails because it is difficult or impossible to pump at the correct rate. Something along the lines of using extruded levers on the Z-axis similar to Katy Ruben's design, or perhaps some sort of horizontal water wheel using horizontal leverage differences may be in order. There are also some other similar designs using for example, 'bailing methods'. One possible design I just thought of is to use a tilted horizontal water wheel, which pumps water up through the center, and then allows it to fall along the upper slant of the wheel. Maybe this is too reminiscent of the so-called Archimedean screw, but if the water is lifted mostly horizontally with a gradient lifting advantage, maybe the leverage advantage will cover other differences in some narrow cases. Good luck! Maybe an efficient method like gears can be found for lifting the water through the middle or something similar, or even something which rotates to allow the rising water to remain mostly horizontal.

@NathanCoppedgeVideos

@@lucianene7741 That's a reasonable assumption but there are some wheels which are extremely more clever than average. My commitment however is to non-wheel designs, so I'm not claiming to be a perfect expert on wheels in particular. Consider though that there are quasi-proven designs using a counterweight to lift a marble horizontally with the marble then lifting the counterweight. Some believe this is impossible but it is not, so in principle this could work also for wheels, for example, if the wheels are horizontally-rotating using a vertical axis. It could be not enough work and design has gone into the correct wheels. I'm not lucifer I'm an honest person and from a smart family. My middle name is Larkin. I have done some of the necessary research.

This wouldn't work as pictured here but if you used a hydraulic ram and made the basin much larger to generate sufficient inlet pressure it would surely reach elevation. Then Using the elevation to promote a gravity fed rotation then yes. Your torque would be ridiculously small. Still If you balanced the ram pump just correctly something tells me it could be made to work.
IMO atmospheric pressure is it. There is a lot to be done and used with that. a LOT
is this called converting gravitational energy into energy of motion??
@efinveecaught7281

Sort of, we call that "kinetic" and "potential" energy, when you take an item and move it to a height above ground, it is storing energy. It took effort to move it up, (energy in) and letting it fall is a new form of energy (energy out) so an object at the tob a shelf has higher potential energy, which is converted into kinetic energy (movement) by falling. You can generate work by having the item fall with say a string attached to it to turn a engine, or any type of work for that matter. However the system will never get more energy out than put in, so unfortunately this machine doesn't actually work, and is powered with extra energy from a motor, or at the start by a giving it a strong push. Then it eventually stop.
The axle going straight through to the unseen engine kinda ruins the whole thing for me.
Is that real wy dont make free enrgy
The valve prevent the backflow and contains a motor

Probably the big white box with the small gear axel going into it has the motor.
I believe this is a gravity wheel, like a water wheel, but for collecting a gravitational waterfall. Not perpetual motion. Perpetual motion is like trying to get energy from hooking up a generator to motor, that's powered by the generator.
@alextheferret5674
Жыл бұрын
Perpetual motion is moving an object forever without introducing any outside forces. This machine says that it can move forever just through the power of water, but cannot due to the lack of outside forces. The reason the machine runs is because of outside forces, and is powered by a hidden device. Hence why there's no recorded sound in the video, the motor would give itself away.

a "gravity wheel" aims to be one special sort of PM. Definition: All closed systems that do at least produce equal energy than they consume for operations are PM, regardless of the energy type. This is the general definition. The fact that energy cannot be produced in a closed environment (black box) is defined in the thermodynamic laws. Enthropy always increases (mainly due to friction and heat losses). therefore a pump that lifts water so it can drive a wheel that drifes the pump is violationt TD law 1 & 2 and external energy source is required to keep it going.
