I worked in the HVAC trade for over 40 years and in countless chiller plants. I have been retired for 3 years and enjoy watching these videos. With the sites and sounds from your videos I can still feel the vibrations from these machines. They have a mediative quality. I always felt a sense of peace and a bit of excitement while in these types of rooms. Thanks for making the video. It’s great to watch talented journeyman and master mechanics at work while remembering great times.
After working in tech for five years I'm coming back to working on these machines again! I watch your vids for entertainment and info keep up the great work.

I pulled strainers on a newer model and the baskets were connected by stainless carabiners. 👍 But mine had a blow down at the end, adding to the degree of difficulty by myself. Had to create some rigging to hold the pipe up while i made the vitalic connection.

Try and get with bigger manufacturer or a union...
How many time we do it for that condenser Sir?
Is there only one condenser pump for both chillers? I usually clean pump strainer as well.
@JumpermanTech
3 жыл бұрын
There is actually 2 condenser water pumps & 2 chilled water pumps for this setup. They run 1 condenser pump at a time and either have 1 or both chillers operating depending on the load🙂 Cleaning the strainers for the pumps are part of this maintenance👍 Thanks for watching! Stay safe out there & stay tuned for new videos!

so, if you turned off the chiller, why the compressors kept running?
@armaletalia3254

You're probably hearing the compressors on the adjacent “Chiller 1”.
Not using lock out tag out procedure?

Do like to share this informative video please.
If its a closed loop shouldn't have to clean the strainer. If the strainers are plugged in a closed loop they need better water treatment. If its an open loop, probably should backflush the condensers.

It's an open tower. Damm pigeons👀 No matter the system or setup, need to do the maintenance. Thanks for watching & stay tuned for new videos! 🔧👍✌
Not a fan of multistack. Everything is too compact.

I'm a commercial guy so I'm used to compact and tight spaces. If anything I feel there's a good space to work with here🙂 You must work with very large equipment. Thanks for watching!
Can u add English subtitles in your videos it's helpful for us

You spoke of safety but yet you didn’t lock out the main breaker for that unit,, someone could close that breaker while you are at the opposite. End on the machine
