Just what i was looking for thank you sir.i think i might put a small washer in place of the limiter, then the spring ,one question for you i pulled my muffler off my 455, the gasket was between the muffler and the aluminum shield, the shield was right up against the port ,is this normal? The saw is brand new ,i questioned my self ,but you can clearly see the impression up against the aluminum proving the way i pulled it off . The saw is mine from new . So nobody's had the exhaust off . Thank you for the video.

That is the normal location for the exhaust gasket, yes

You could try squeezing the spring tight to the screw with a pair of pliers

Which splined tool did u use? 21 or 7?

My tool doesn't have a number on it but it must be the 21. The same tool works on Poulan saws as well.
