Husqvarna 435X & 535 AWD Automower Battery Replacement

In this video we show where the battery is located on a 435X (and 535 AWD) Husqvarna Automower. We also give you some tips on how to remove or replace the battery in a 435X or 535 AWD Automower that can save you some extra trouble. The 435X and 535 AWD Automower are fairly easy to remove the battery from because the battery is located on the bottom of the mower's chassis and it has an easily removable cover over it. To remove the battery cover from the chassis of a Husqvarna 435X or 535 AWD you will need a T20 torx bit screwdriver. But before removing the screws make sure that the area around the 435X or 535 AWD battery cover is clean to prevent dirt and moisture from getting into the mower and causing damage.

Saw charging problems out of the box with my new 435X. Have you heard of any service bulletins or folks having similar issues? I had a 315 and 450X for years without issue.

@@RoboticMowerServices Yeah sure! Bought a new 435X on eBay and set it up at the end of March. Would charge up to 64% or so and then stop charging with a "No power in charging station" error. Worked with my dealer to swap out the charging station board and power supply, but same thing. Battery finally got to where it wouldn't charge at all and died. Been waiting over a month on a working battery.

Do you need to use auto mower connect after installing a new battery , my new battery brings up a charging station error even though it shows fully charged , works fine if I put the old battery back in , does the new battery need pairing ?

@@darrensykes9247 I don't know. The new replacement battery for my 435X finally came in. It's Rev. G and was made this year. It charges to 100% without any issue, unlike the last one, but now anytime I try to start the mower it says "Charging System Error". I've got the dealer looking into it, she said it may need some kind of a recalibration, and beyond that, maybe a PCB needs to be replaced. If none of that fixes it, sounds like they're going to just replace the whole damn thing. Really disappointing after years of zero issues with my 315 and 450X.
well no wonder the one that stole min was able to get the gps off it the battery is this easy to get to

Mine was just stolen too 🤦♂️ I’m guessing they did the same thing. Remove the battery

@@jonathanronca i added an airtagg and the one from samsung. then u have both covered :) some how the police found it at a later point. hope they find urs :)
Apparently the battery does need pairing to the mcb using auto check , back to the dealers with it again 😡
