They are so great saws! I have a Husqvarna 285 CD and I haven't used that chainsaw in seven years at all. Now it doesn't lubricate the chain..Do I need to clean or replace OIL LINE HOSE AND PICKUP filter ?? To replace the oil hose do I have to remove only the muffler??

I bought myself the same saw without guide bar and chain for only $ 70 in very good condition...Also on my saw fuel leaks under the cap. Are there any parts for this saw they fit from Husqvarna 65? From which Husqvarna model fits the fuel cap?

I’m not sure what other model fuel caps will fit, probably several older models, but definitely the cap from the 2100CD will fit. Do you mean fuel leaks from under the spark plug? That shouldn’t happen unless it’s the wrong plug or isn’t tight enough. I have a group on Facebook called “Vintage chainsaw collectors corner”. Just pick up one myself was sitting in the back of my father in laws shop with little use basically new mine is 1982 285 cd

@@cobhc1986 can't wait to start using it I'm going to buy an new bar and chain for it first.and maybe start going to the gym again cux yes it's a heavy beast.
