Hunting Harley's, 1947 Knuckle original paint at Wauseon

rode the machine around all weekend, had a blast. Didn't even go shopping too busy having fun! It would of helped if I remembered there were two petcocks on the machine prior to attempting to start it.

My grandfather had a 47 knuckle, sold it about the time my dad wanted to ride it at age 13. Grandad passed a month after his 100th birthday. What man. What a bike. Would love to have one…. And crazy enough to think I will …one day, good Lord willing.

Amazing. Btw, that 1948 makes a lot more sense than the stuff they sell today. :)

Is it just me or does that sound better than a new bike with every screaming eagle mod or s&s upgrade with open pipes??? Just so classic sounding it's like ear sex

I think the evos are the best motors they ever made. Maybe a little too vanilla for some of the older guys, but i was always riding past the harleys broke down on the shoulder on my 90's evo. They shouldnt have killed it

he rode it but the videgrapher turn off the vid too soon. That's my buddy Bill. Too much heat fry's the brain. It was not a starting problem. It was me forgetting there is a 2nd petcock in the main gas line and not turning on the 2nd petcock. He had quite the fun ribbing his girl, Chicklett (who did the video) about her knowing there were two Pet Cock's for the machine as she must therefor like having two cock's.

OP paint is easy to tell. Standard colors have runs like a beach shore in the sand. Impossible to duplicate as it was baked and averages 3 microns thick
