I rode with Satch and "The Gang" (her club from Mountain Side Inn) back in the day when I had my blue and gold XS650, Tim Albright owned that harley then. I remember taking a group ride to York, Pa with these guys. Awesome memory brought back by this video.

UK here ,im not even a bike guy, but the detail on that bike, it being a 1940s bike, then firing up without smoking. It was a beautiful looking machine, they would have sold it for $32,000.

God that is a beautiful bike man
"I don't ride it much... it'll probably start.." I guess she wasn't lying
Love the UL's. That one has a few repop parts but glad the script was to push it back in the owners garage.
That bike's worth $15 K without the motor. If it's original sheetmetal, frame, trans, springer, speedo, carb, etc., along with all the great period parts and accessories it has, ya can't lose. Satch should own that bike 'till she drops. She knows more about the soul of that bike than anyone else ever will. And, it's value. I ride a '47 Knuck, and have had it since I was young. I tip my hat to Satch.
Mike wanted no part of that lol
Why do I feel bad for this lady. She's got an incredible bike. And she doesn't ride much anymore.

Bikes shouldn’t be showroom pretty and they should have broken parts. This one has a story and it simply isn’t worth the money to buy because of that story. Sorry, Mike. Harley mounted a rocker foot clutch that would stay disengaged when it was rocked forward, rocked backward would engage. suicide clutches had the rocker removed and your foot had to stay on the clutch pedal to keep it disengaged.
