Hunting Gear Setup - for all day in the field hunting and filming

Спорт

Hi folks, I’m sharing some of the newer gear I carry in my hunting pack, excluding the clothes and food. I had this bag outfitted for an all-day (12 hrs.) still hunting and filming in cold weather conditions. This is just one of many possible configurations, but I’m sure whatever set-up you choose will be the right one for your trip. The contents are listed below. All the best

Outdoor Edge Griz-Saw
Two Browning BLR magazines (4 rounds each)
Galco Stalker Cartridge Wallet ammo pouch (large, dark havana)
Smartphone with ballistics App
HME Easy Grip Wing Tacks - reflective trail markers

    I know y’all will think this is stupid but during hunting season me and my grandfather will go to our place and hunt for the weekend I just wear my school clothes under my hunting clothes and it works just fine doesn’t scare deer away so don’t worry to death about your scent do what you can do to eliminate it but if you don’t get the chance to wash absolutely everything you should be fine as long as the wind is in your favor

    man, people who drink coffee in the stand crack me up. You go to painstaking lengths to eliminate scent and then drink one of the strongest smelling drinks.

    You can drink pine tee. That might help and still keep the same scent.

    nice kit. If you like zebra light headlamps i would give there flashlights a try. the sc600 is my go to light, it uses a single cell 18650 like your current light but its more compact. mine is 3 or 4 years old but i think the new ones are getting close to 2000 lumens in cool white, a bit less in neutral.

    +GudNat Hi, the harness strapped to my chest is for my binoculars. It is a high quality bino harness made by Alaska Guide Creations. It is called the Kodiak KISS in loden green. After I returned from Africa, I started doing research on harness systems for binoculars. I wanted something nicer than the X-Lock Down deployment system by S4 Gear. I looked at many brands (Alaska Guide Creations, FHF Gear, S4 Gear, Kuiu, Bandlands Bino X, Eberlestock Nose Gunner, Tenzing, Sitka, Easton, Horn Hunter, Cabela’s, Gander Mountain, Bass Pro Shops) and found two premium rigs, one by FHF Gear and the other by Alaska Guide Creations. They are two of the nicest chest harness systems I’ve seen. Respectfully

    Hi, JBM Ballistics is a good app, but there are others. Many of the ammo and scope manufacturers also have their own online ballistic calculators with printable reticles based on your specific ammo and caliber. The printout shown in the video is from the Swarovski website. Respectfully

  • @TheAmericanOutfitter

    @TheAmericanOutfitter

    It is a requirement of the law for safety reasons. Also, some animals cannot distinguish colors, but can certainly see figures, silhouettes, solid patterns and outlines, and they can definitely see movement.

    dude where ever you are hunting GET OUTA THERE!!! that was a slug going by you at 56 sec. into the video. i was watching to see if you knew what you were doing but now I just want to see if you survive. If your hunting on a target range the only thing you really need is a Kevlar jump suit. Start with safety LOL. Ha Boo Boo kit how about a Nurse why don't you bring an emergency Nurse with you see if she will fit in your huge backpack. Listen peace and love my friend thanks for the time you put into the video but go back and edit the "near death experience" and get some credibility back. love ya good luck - PEACE.

    We call these gear queers (GQ) in the Army. Being prepared is one thing, being mobile is another. Can you imagine the noise the pack would make especially in heavy woods? And are you trying to show everyone your UA gloves (GQ)on purpose or they paying you? Maybe I should throw mine on while typing this. lol.
