The shots of the wolves in this video is so beautiful, and Coyote never fails to entertain and educate me with these animal adventure content :)

Wolves are incredibly beautiful animals and equally as important to their native ecosystems. I hope for their sake we can turn our ambitions away from destroying that and help them instead like you and the team did in this video.

This woman is literally my hero and someone I admire and look up to so much!. My husband and I plan on opening a Wolf and Wolf Hybrid Sanctuary in the Sierra Mountains in Nevada in the next 5-6 years. It's a lot of planning and a lot of work. I would give just about anything to be able to sit down with her and get information then I would ask to volunteer at her center and fallow her around for a few weeks. My husband is currently in the military and we will be moving to CT in August. I really wish I knew someone who could introduce us.

"The eyes are the window to the soul" When you have wolf eyes that beautiful, I am sure they have a beautiful personality then.

We were just there a week ago, a fascinating place. I learned a lot about the wolves on our tour. It was totally worth it driving to Divide when it was snowing.

I have studied wolves for most of my life. They are NOT vicious creatures. Since humans have killed off most of them and they almost wemt extinct they are actually really timid and dont want to go near people because they associate humans with death. If anything humans are the monsters. Just like any other predator they ONLY KILL when they need food and if they do kill extra its because they are saving it for later. Mostly in the winter months. Wolves are actually really sweet and an alpha RARELY hurts another pack member. When they show dominance its not to hurt the other wolf its to show they are a higher rank. Wolves have very tough skin so they barely feel the bites. A wolf pack is like a family unit and they love each other. Educate yourself and please dont make assumptions. They need help.

Wolves are not aggressive because they want to be, contrary to the popular opinion many people seem to take that as a truth. Wolf attacks are INCREDIBLY rare and the cases that do involve wolf attacks are either rabies or they're habituated ( wildlife that gets used to humans, thus they are more confrontational when it comes to food; it is not exclusive to just wolves. ) Like it was explained, when the alpha male was telling the female off he was not being aggressive otherwise it would've been more aggressive ( fight-wise ), or in the context of him saying it was nerve-wracking would be the male seeing him as a threat, or a challenge to taking his kill, despite I would note he was staring, which can be taken as such. Every predator is highly alert when it comes to this and they cannot expect one to not take interest.

@@kekeke8988 I don't understand the hate towards pitbulls, they are just like every other dog. If you train a labrador to be aggressive, it will be aggressive. If you have a bad mannered pitbull, take a look at who trained it and you'll often find that they're abusive or damaged individuals.

@@slayingfury3 Pitbulls are murderous by their very nature. It's what they were bred for. It's in their DNA. They are extremely deadly and constitute a grave public threat. Countless countries have banned the breed outright. 6% of the dog population, 78% of fatal dog attacks. It's absolutely sickening. Labradors are abused too, I guarantee you, but you will never see Labradors account for the vast majority of dog attacks, because they were bred to be loving companions, not to be vicious killers impervious to all pain, like the monstrous pits.

Somriddhi TV I lived by a deer rehabilitation center it takes orphaned fawns in and helps them until they can fend for them self but the deer would walk up to people because of that

We sat and watched a wolf pack eat an elk in Yellowstone as a child from about 500 yards away using a big spotting scope. Ever since then I've been in love with wolves.

I love all these animals Thank you Coyote for inspiring me to try to become an animal guy when I’m of the age

coyote Peterson should really do another wolf video. my love for wolves is huge and by the sounds of it I dearly hope that wolves tend to grow more and more through out the world. their a big connection to nature which is why I consider another video. they need to be made known that they are not vicious but beautiful and amazing creatures. coyote Peterson, you did an amazing job on this video over a year ago and I hope to see more exactly like this one. Pig Rider I am studying to do conservation law, especially with cases of predator reintroduction. Most cases of wolves hunting for sport or over-hunting are in winter when wolves can bury corpses of their prey for later consumption (like a dog burying a bone). In Colorado, the current deer and elk population is too high even with hunting seasons. The NPS still ends up having to cull hundreds of deer themselves every year. Reintroducing wolves would be a huge benefit to this situation, especially as elk begin to encroach more and more on human spaces. I wasn’t able to find anything about wolves ripping out a living deers spine for sport, so if you have an account of the incident, I’d love to hear about it.

your words at the end made me cry... it's so sad that these creatures are so misunderstood... they're way more shy than agressive but everyone thinks they're mean only because they need meat to survive? not fair.

Wolves play one of the most important roles in nature, they are the controllers of others populations so they keep balance in nature..

"so how is it that they are struggling to avoid extinction" - "humans" Thank you for addressing this. People need to know that even one of the most loved species is being neglected by humans for their selfish reasons
