30 years ago, my uncle found a wolfdog pup and he adopted him after he found out that his mother have died. He named him Lupo, he grew very big but he was the kindest, most gentle and sweet soul, the first time I approached him as a little girl, he hid his face so I will not be intimidated by his teeth and he did this every time me or other kids were around. We love you Lupo, you were the greatest boy.

I will never forget the day I got to meet a wolf. He was beautiful with such a tragic story. He had a mate and a litter of puppies, and his puppies and mate were shot dead by neighbors. He hasn’t trusted many humans since. But he trusted me. That is something I will never forget. His dense fur, his piercing yellow eyes, the sheer power he held and yet he was so gentle. Truly amazing

I recently learnt about a case study where (approx 12) Wolves were reintroduced to a national Park and ended up shaping rivers. With no predators the deer etc grew and ate a lot of young trees before they could grow. Now that the Wolves were introduced they learnt to avoid places like valleys where they could be trapped which meant the trees grew and solidified the soil making it harder to wash away so the riverbanks became narrower and eventually started changing

A full grown pup that can take down a human. They're magnificent apex predators.

Wolves are so cute, intelligent, majestic, and sadly misunderstood. . . I have seen so many comments about how "bad" wolves are. Wolves will only attack humans if they are in dire need, and cant find any food. They attacked our cattle because it was easy food, we (as humans) decided to kill them off because of that, instead of making our fences higher it dealing with it in a different way. Wolves also help sustain the forest by making sure the elk and deer population stays normal so all the plants dont get eaten, but because there are so few wolves in many areas we have to hunt deer and elk to make sure they dont get over populated. I would also like to mention that more people are killed/attacked by dogs more than wolves. Our trusted compainions attack us more than wolves, granted, it still isnt common, but just something to think about.

My family knew a guy in Alabama, he somehow had multiple wolves. They were the most beautiful creatures. I was very young so I never got the chance to get too close but my goodness they were absolutely beautiful animals. Hearing a wolf howl with your own ears is something that I will never forget.

When I was younger we had a timberwolf, yes, as a pet. Most loving and awesome friend I've ever had.

I think I did a report on tigers for something similar. I have many domestic cats, but I’ve always found big cats to be fascinating.

Those wolves are so beautiful and them acting like excited puppies just makes my heart melt

I love wolves there so elegant and fluffy soft nice vicious and beautiful I always just want to go out into the wild and meet some wolves they are really important for their ecosystem and they are also my favourite animal ever

The closest i’ve ever gotten to a wolf was at my local zoo. It was night and a full moon. They were all howling and it was absolutely amazing seeing so many beautiful wolves howl at the same time. I love these animals so much!

Its so sad that wolves are sadly misunderstood as bloodthirsty hunters, but when you really take a look they're pretty loyal and family soft-hearted with eachother And also very fluffy, if i were to have the chance to, i'd like to pet a wolve.

I have personally donated to the wolfdog and the wolf sanctuary near me. I spout about how amazing they are every chance I get. They're my favourite animal ever, and I will do anything I can to make sure people understand that wolves aren't dangerous to us. They're not dangerous to farmers cows any more than birds and cars are. Wolves have to be the most misunderstood animal in North America, maybe even the world and it breaks my heart to hear about anyone hunting them for any reason.

The beauty of these animals is off the charts - I absolutely adore them!

I love how he isn't scared of going face to face with a wolf. Then there are all of these people that are. And he is a big inspiration to me and I wish I could be in one of his videos.

I grew up in Colorado, my entire childhood was spent at this exact wolf preserve center and we’ve donated as much as we can, my family and I heavily support wolves this preserve is amazing and I hope we can reintroduce wolves into Colorados wildlife

Wolves are vicous yet so beautiful and elegant also soft hearted

i love wolfs so much their so misunderstood their so beautiful, intelligent and vicious mostly when they need to be or when they feel threatened

I spent my entire junior year on learning about wolves and now my life i want to take care of wolves 🐺

I've been to the Wolf and Wild Life Center roughly three times in total, and I wish I could go there a lot more, but I unfortunately had to move away from Colorado. The last time I went to the Wild Life Center was the time I got to go in the enclosure with Keyni and Makuee. Keyni was the first wolf that came up to me, I guess he must've detected the scent of the McDonalds I had for breakfast on my way there, because he was smelling my jeans pretty much the whole time. While I was in the enclosure, I was told that wolves don't like to be petted on their heads, because they'll think you're threatening them, instead they love getting scratched below their necks. I did exactly that, and I was amazed at how thick Keyni's fur was. After Keyni walked off to visit some other people in the enclosure, Makuee came to me, I scratched below her neck, and then I was also told that if I gently blow on a wolfs nose, it'll make them want to lick whoever is blowing at them. And she did. I couldn't believe I was kissed by a REAL wolf. Once my visit in their enclosure was finished, me and everyone else that was in the enclosure were taken on a tour to see all the other wolves in the Wild Life Center. I always said Koda is my favorite wolf, I never got to meet her up close unfortunately, but I wish I did. Everyone at the center agreed that she is the sweetest wolf there. I have always felt a very close connection with the wolf. I firmly believe it is my spirit animal, and many of my friends do agree that I have personality traits of one. I always pray that wolves can one day live in peace without any disturbance of hunters, I know however that it may never happen. But I'll always love wolves regardless.

Wolves, Coyotes, and Foxes, are in my top favorite animals.

I love wolves. I used to have a timber wolf named Bubba. And we grew up together. And he was very sweet, and protective. But he never tried to attack anyone, not even the neighbors dogs, but he was just the sweetest thing. Our neighbors weren't keen of him because he was a wolf, they've called the cops on my family because he originally barked like other dogs. Although he was a wolf he was still a dog at heart. But he was every thing to me. He was always a year younger than I was. He was given as a gift and when he passed away in September 2018, it left me heart broken. Because he was like a friend that no one else would've been. And knowing that people hate wolves, and think that they are as vicious as they believe is pretty heart wrenching. If they had ever seen Bubba, got to know him, he's just like a dog, they show kindness when you do, and love when you love, and doesn't emply violence unless it's done to them. Bubba will always have a place in my heart, and I still miss him today. He was like a brother to me. Rest In Peace Bubba.. -

When you live in Colorado and see the wolves in the wild, it looks so cool but also slightly terrifying

At least someone agrees that wolves are beautiful animals

Wolves are my favorite animal and I really love them and can’t wait to see one for the first time in real life
