Officially titled "Phantom of the Wilderness" this special edition of Breaking Trial will chronicle Coyote Peterson's epic adventure to come face-to-face with one of the stealthiness predators on the planet, the Wolverine!
Since his youth, Coyote has dreamed of the day that he would meet a real live Wolverine. Admittedly not the typical wish of an 8 year old but it was his pursuit nonetheless. His favorite toy, Gulo the stuffed Wolverine, served as a constant reminder through the years to hold his ambition near and never allow it to escape his imagination.
Fast forward 26 years later. Coyote and the Brave Wilderness crew are setting off for not only the adventure of a lifetime but also to meet the creature that's stirred Coyote’s curiosity since the beginning...and of all places for this final act to take place, our story lands the team right in the middle of one of the most epic expanses of wilderness on the planet, Alaska.
Get ready for jaws, claws and one epic Wolverine Face-Off!
HUGE THANKS to Steve Kroschel and his amazing team for hosting the Brave Wilderness crew and making this video possible. Our experience at Steve’s wildlife center was beyond amazing! Steve is fascinating and he is very grounded to nature. Humans think there is us and there is nature out there somewhere but we are part of this giant biosphere and ecosphere. Steve understands this but sadly humans have disconnected ourselves from where we truly belong. This was a terrific episode and the Wolverine is spectacular and beautiful.

This is one of my favourite videos from Brave WIlderness, and this is my second time watching. I imagine being in the presence of a Wolverine to be a humbling experience, and seeing Steve play with one at the end was a beautiful sight. I love it when I see humans and animals connect and enjoy each other's company so much. It's all about building a relationship of respect, trust, and understanding, and it's truly heartwarming.

You do realize with your comment you too are a "Steve is weird" commenter merely by mentioning that. As a side note weird means abnormal, which is an apt way of describing Steve's actions. It doesn't mean he is bad or anything... just that he doesn't act in the way people expect of others. Living with nature and animals the way he does is not what most people do, thus abnormal. That he studies nature the way he does and protects wildlife the way he does means he should be revered, but that doesn't mean you can't use the proper words in English to describe him.

I thought that the whole time. There's absolutely no way that anything bad would have happened with that extremely well behaved animal. I think that Steve figured out how crazy this dude was immediately, and then he just messed with him for a few hours (sleeping to the call of a raven, uphill sprints barefoot, rotting moose skin, carrying the meat for a mile... sounds too ridiculous for even someone like Coyote to believe)

Wow. I was having a mini-panic attack watching that video. Coyote Peterson, if you're reading this, just know that you are the bravest human being I've ever met. You're also a consummate professional who treats guests with utmost respect, and I admire the hell out of you for that. Thanks for being you 🙏👍❤️.
