Having a few friends who own these cars, it's not a stretch to think that they probably all broke down at the same place at the same time! 🙂

That was my thought, they are all setting there because they couldn't get them shift out of park. Everyone I ever knew that owned one, including myself experienced that problem.

Heartbreaking to see all those rangerovers like that
I know that place - it's a breakers? They aren't abandoned at all, just down the track on the left are some sheds and a workshop. The bloke that runs it is a great lad. He has pretty much any part you need for a rangie and will deliver it or you can collect. I've been there twice now picking up an engine and some other bits. It's an actual place of business and he does loads of business from there. It's hardly a mystery?

Dude I genuinely look forward to your videos every Saturday and Sunday and really enjoy them.
It says a lot about Range Rover reliability when you have a yard full of cars without accident damage. 🤣
Great video Imstokze, particularly showing abandoned range rovers in a harsh cold landscape. I bet we will see more abandoned drivable cars when ULEZ is extended across the whole of London.
The sheer scale of Range Rover Series 2 (P38) and 3 (L322) and Discovery 2s notably 3.9 and the 4 litre ones just blew my mind. A good explore. Colin needs to check this one out.

So many land/range rovers and crazy to imagine one day these cars will be a relic of the past. Another great video brother, just sharing what's out there and documenting each location one journal at a time 🤠🌲🍃
Had a few of the LR & Disco models in my time. The Series 2 3 door in green was our favourite. Very few problems compared with later models and it did reasobly well to the diesel gallon
I look at that graveyard and one word comes to mind, Depreciation! These were not bought by owner maintainers, and with high labour rates, even clean and tidy cars became too expensive. And its not as though they're known for reliability... And thst was pre covid and before fuel price were out there past Pluto!
Absolutely amazing..
Great video mate never seen so many range rovers thanks sharing with us amazing place 👍 👍
Thanks for showing us that mate!! The trailer for tomorrows video has gotten me excited to!! 🙌🏻
It’s incredible to see all these Range Rovers just left sitting there in the open. Some of these could surely be put back on the road with a bit of work. Hats off to you for braving that terrible weather to bring us this video. That shows the proper dedication you have for what you do.

If the owner is a “collector” won’t be able to do anything. We have a bloke near use whos garden is packed with rotten cars and he’s been taken to court several times by the council and he says they are his collection and it gets thrown out of court every time.
Great video Stu 👍
I just love the metalic red, its a stunning colour no matter what type of daylight!.
What a place. Some lovely looking motors. Westminster is the right choice what a lovely looking beast. Bet that would clean up bloody lovely. And if its the diesel 2.5 its a Bullet proof BMW engine. Which is cheap as hell to run. I run mine on red diesel for 10 years cost me nothing as I got it from work 🤣🤣 Keep up the good work 👍👍
Great video Stu as always.
Thanks again fella.

They obviously own the LR parts game, probably a good export market. Great vid,
I don't know if there are defective vehicle buy-backs over there (known as "lemon laws" in the US), but it wouldn't surprise me to know these were part of such a program. I owned a defective VW (purchased new) that was bought back, and for years I was still listed as the owner of record.

Seeing this and thinking of the retail values today makes me realise how lucky we were in the early seventies and late sixties. Series one Landrovers could be had for thirty quid needing work, and I bought an Austin Champ for £210 in 1972. £1500 to the taxpayer in 1951,thats fifty grand in todays money (google it). This Champ had 25,000 miles on the clock four wheel drive an all synchro gearbox,(in those days unheard of) and an engine desighned by Rolls Royce, although built by Austin at Cofton Hacket, wherever that was.We never found out. Ex Squaddies abounded in those days including superanuated ones of indetermined rank so we were always getting ribbed. 'You kids will turn that B - - - - - thing over and kill yourselves,The back axles are mince,Nine Miles to the Gallon' Fortunately for us our Champ was reletively trouble free barring a clutch(Austin Gypsy Fitted) and did twenty to the gallon when driven sensibly, not always done, wonder I am nearly seventy. The engine was awsome,a thing of wonder. One German Mechanic, who had served in the Werhmacht was astounded, when he read in the handbook not to remove the head until the car had done 100,000 miles. Most vehicles then had a decoke every thirty or so. We drove all over The Central Belt and West Coast of Scotland in that Champ and had frequent visits over the border to places like Blackpool where our mate came from, and Bolton wher was to be found Hughie McGovern Part Time Lorry Driver and Austin Champ Specialist. And Yes He Was English ! With a name like that,Hughie should have been a Scot !

Wow. That's insane. It's a real shame as it looks like most actually would start and drive off with a bit of light maintenance and recommissioning. But as you pointed out these were the big 3 and 4 litre guzzlers and at present are unaffordable on the roads with tax and fuel.

When checking the DVLS website, a lot of these cars are showing an MOT pass then simply "MOT Has Expired" the following year. They don't appear to have failed an MOT with a long list of issues & been taken off the road due to being uneconomical to repair.

This is crazy, more surprised to see the mini there, my lad has a big standard 52 plate, paid £600 for it last year and been offered a Grand for it just last week. Plus it needs a new gear box. Surely any clean enough need to be undercover, be worth a few quid alright won’t they? Can’t say I know much, if anything an out any terminal faults they may have or anything but maybe just flogging the wheels if they are just breaking them

It breaks my heart to see all them there.😖
When you said most of these were 'turn key'. I heard everyone laugh in the background as I very much doubt these were running. I feel the owners rejected this junk and gave it to a company to dismantle for parts. Also sitting on the grass in the wet and damp, they will rot to pieces as you said.
Great advertisement for garden ornaments, curtsey of range rover,,,,

My next door neighbour is a car transporter driver and he took hundreds to a place just outside Birmingham England - this was in 2020.
I’ve happened across this place by accident, I like to drive roads I’ve not driven before and vary a repeat journey by going a different way. I came from above the site and dropped down and round and past it, and wasn’t sure whether it was a breakers or an eccentric collection. They all looked pretty intact from memory. Quite a surprise so far from anywhere and it didn’t look populated at all.

The land is on an old mine, there are loads of chemicals already in the land from the mining process, there's a load of ponds where the water has to sort of separate out before it's allowed into the river down the road
Let's hope all the fluids have been drained or it's all going to wash into the streams. I'm surprised the Environment Agency haven't jumped on this site. The scrap value sitting here is immense, someone is biding their time hoping values go up.
