why are all these cars always in secret locations rotting away, instead of being sold to those that would actually take care of them and drive them?

owner probably died no family left to claim them, or old auto park bankrupt banks just took the land never cared for cars... owner in prison for life ... owner disappeared ... etc... but most of them are just not secret, they probably in a private land that nobody goes there... since is private? and being non-attended looks like a forest area...especially if they sit there for like 30-50 years... nature will claim its rightful place

That '65-'67 (no side marker lights for '68/'69) Chevy Corvair coupe appears to be a 500 model. I love Corvairs! I have early models, late models, and forward controls! Also around 10 min. before the end of your great video it appears that there are some houses and sheds that can be seen in a clearing just outside the forest. May I ask you this question? If the cars are abandoned why don`t you try to find out who the new owner is & purchase the lot?? I could help out on the purchase if needed.

Old Jags, Porsches, VW Beatle late 50s model, Alfa Romeos, Mercedes, BMW 2002s. The only problem is if you were to attempt to tow one out of those woods, it would most likely fall apart on you. Floors and sills on probably all of them are so rotted out, they probably aren't salvagable.

This is true, they were rough even when parked! The 356’s are totally gone but yet still Black Forest Germany would be interested in rebuilding. A lot of people just don’t understand how difficult it would be to remove the cars that are this deep in the woods, only if you owned the property and applied for titles… and then had 100,000 sqft lots to store them

Surprised the lads did not mention or surprised to see an old ''Black London Taxi'' there in the woods deep in the woods somewhere in North America !! As this would be a VERY RARE taxi which would of been imported from the UK ... Say there is only about 10 other imported London Taxi cabs in the U.S. now ? That's my guess !!

When I talked with Tom, the owner, about the E Type, he said it was mostly rusted in the bottom and most of the chrome was gone now. I still want to save it though. And another car I would like to have is right behind the cameraman...A Saab 96, I think.

The E type simply has value for its vin. The owner Tom needs to have an auction and then the money to get help!

If you know the owner I would be interested in getting in touch with him and even dig a few out myself

@@steveott4579 He does Not let people onto the property at all. He was very adamant about that. He does all the extraction. He pulled a vintage mercedez out a few years ago for $10k... that's what he told me. So if you want something, you better have money !!
