After nearly thirteen years of peace, the rumors of war began to circulate once again. The King’s agents reported that a young, upstart warchief had arisen and rallied the few remaining orc clans into an elite fighting force. The young warchief was intent on tearing down the internment camps and freeing his people from their bondage. The “new horde” as it was dubbed, had brazenly attacked the northern city of Stratholme in an attempt to rescue one of its captured warriors. The horde even destroyed Durnholde - the fortress that oversaw the security of the internment camps - and murdered the officers who ran it. King Terenas sent Uther and his paladins to quell the warchief’s uprising, but the crafty orcs could never be found. The young warchief proved to be something of a tactical genius - and evaded Uther’s best efforts to corral his hit and run attacks.
Amidst the strain of the new orc uprising, King Terenas was disturbed to hear ill news on another front. Rumor held that a number of supposed “death cults” had formed in the northern provinces. The cults attracted the disenfranchised and disheartened citizens of Lordaeron, offering them “eternal life” on earth as an alternative to servitude to the King. After many years of peace and quiet, King Terenas knew that troubles were only just beginning for his land. He took some comfort in the fact that Lordaeron had endured every trial that had ever come its way - and that its defenders, both new and old, would see it safely through to a new dawn…

I cannot express my gratitude to you, Everness. I use your videos at work every single day. Warcraft 3 has become a Christmas thing for me. I’m 32, married and two daughters. Yet, every Christmas holiday I play through the campaigns. Brilliant game, brilliant music

Was :-( I must admit that I miss old warcraft feeling. Bullshit dragonflight. They should return asap to old concept with undead and demons. There would be much content left to create. But no - let's bail out Sylvanas and all the interesting main chars just to let us visit all the green, red and blue dragons :-( we are no children

@@alexanderlesch9950rather take dragonglight over shadowlands anyday. Atleast dragonflight is trying to build up something but eh its wow its gonna fall flat no matter what. Even the lich king right was meh in wrath
Talk about nostalgia. This game fueled my future World of Warcraft addiction!
I love how the Last Days of the Alliance mark at 49:38 played exactly when Arthas and Muradin reached Frostmoure before the latter's death.
The first track straight off the bat is the best. Love how it slowly builds up. That's my nostalgia

I remember my 7th grade year getting the WC3 battle chest for Christmas. I played thru the campaigns and enjoyed every minute of it. The themes take me back.
As a human being myself, this soundtrack has special meaning. It characterizes the essence of the human race 💪💪

This game is a legacy. I come every day and play this video - taking me back into childhood, those endless days and nights playing with my friends. Call me nostalgic, but those were the best times I ever had.

Probably one of the greatest games ever created. It layed the groundwork for so many games that this is really a top 5 game of all time. Just think about it. MOBAs, Tower Defense, RTS going forward.. WoW.. this game has to be one of the most influential game to exist.

After playing through it (and the expansion of course) I have to say, it holds up remarkably well.
I hope you will post all races. The music is awesome even to this day. Enjoy your Classic and Reforged experiences

@@ytpaulthebest It is underrated, that's true. So far I've only seen it used in those pet battles (weirdly remixed, if I recall correctly) and in some dungeons that dealt with historical events (that one about Thrall's escape from Durnholde Keep, for example) :)

Brilliant game indeed and it's underrated nowadays, compared to WoW and all the other stuff people rather play than remembering this PC RTS cult classic masterpiece from old king Blizzard.
Ufff, hope it wont be to long... I remember playing Warcraft 2, then this masterpiece. After school i remember going with friends to a cybercafe and play FFA mode, later when i had a good pc i played it on my house all the time, then DotA came up and i was addicted, i remember using the command whenever i started a match -music human1. Then i started playing WoW way later, when it was already Cataclysm i think, wanted to play it before but i tho it was out of reach for me, because of the pc and the suscription. But playing so much W3 and then playing WoW was the best thing that happened to me, the best lore in the world, i read all the 10320145 books and comics. 1 year ago i acomplished the 0 to 100% lore of Warcraft, that journey was epic and i love Warcraft to much. But there is something im ashamed off, i cant get to max lvl in any WoW exp, because i get like bored of the same thing (thats why i admire people that had and that has many characters lvl max), it pains me to much because the only lore i couldnt reach for myself is the one in WoW, i mean... i know what happens but i wanted to be there... Killing Arthas and such. Tried playing Classic but i couldnt end it, i love the music, the lore, the game but i cant play it to max lvl. I love the blood-elf starting zone, i love them and im ashamed of not being there while we kill the traitor of Kael'thas. :( Thank you so much Everness for all this videos, you are a hero to us, those who age are over 30's. This is a santuary for the ugly world where we live. (i think i thanked too on the bloodelf vid :P)

Everyone should try this -> play any rts game, let's say heroes of might and magic. Turn of the music and put this on in the background. Such a good experience when replaying old games. Because no matter what warcraft 3 will always be top tier nostalgia with the best game soundrack

I beat this game. It's the only rts I've ever played to the end. It was challenging. Oh wait, the first and second C&C I beat too. This art style defined WoW and to a lesser degree LoL.
