This is crazy. I came here trying to sleep, but now im stuck reading all these comments and realizing just how much of an impact this game has had on countless people. Including myself. Ive probably put over 1200 hours into this game over 10 or 11 characters and it doesnt get old. But this nostalgia is painstaking. Life just barrels on and we have to suffer through it. Do what has to be done and move on. Those times were much simpler and i really long for them because idk man, this shit is not it. Life is hard sometimes but at least i have memories of a better time

This brings me back to my childhood, when I was 10, the game had just came out. My parents bought it for me and were thrilled that I was still here after my operation (I had a cerebral aneurysm). I never knew the cruel harsh realities of adulthood, dad was still alive, I didn’t even have anxiety back then. Life was perfect, this video brings me back to that. ❤

I've been playing these while going through the MoP Remix and it's fantastic. I only seem to hear the music of any area for maybe 10 seconds and then it's just ambient background noise for the rest of the time I'm playing, so I started cutting the audio and playing music in the background. Half the enjoyment of WoW for me is the music 😂

This track for me reminds me of (and really captures) the magic and wonder of playing this for the first time in 2005 on a PC with Windows XP professional on it. I was 25 at the time. I love to reminisce about those days and remember the feeling I had when I played it for the first time. Sometimes, I wish I could go back in time and relive some of them magical moments just for a little while although I wouldn't want to go back permanently because there was alot of BS that happened during those days in my life as well. One of my many memories I had of playing this was when my older brother and I were grouped together and we were in Ironforge (or Lagforge as it was in my case back then). At the time I had an Athlon 1.2Ghz Processor and maybe around 256mb or 512mb of DDR Ram (I can't remember exactly how much it was. But, it was somewhere in that ballpark.) and an ATI All-In-One Wonder 9500 video card. The performance in Ironforge was so bad that it looked like a slide show going at about 1 frame every 2 or 3 (or more seconds). We had cable internet where I was living at the time. I got so frustrated that I said to my brother in Party Chat that I was done playing this, my computer couldn't handle it and my brother said, "Come on, we're gettin' the hell outta here!" and we left Ironforge out into Dun Morogh and my performance improved. :) I later went on to upgrade to an Athlon 2.0Ghz processor and more ram in my machine. My performance got alot better in-game. :)

Skyrim is one of those games where it feels not like I'm playing a game, but that I'm living a different life. Very few games in my life have ever even come close to this. My wife and I have thousands of hours into Skyrim. She walked down the aisle at our wedding to a voilin cover of "The Dragonborn Comes," and I can't think of anything more fitting for my dragonborn goddess. Skal brothers and sisters.
