I'd never seen them live before, and that was a jaw dropping performance from him. He moved round that stage and sung as if it was his first gig and we were the first ones to see it.

This is simply a brilliant, utterly memorable song with such evocative and opulent lyrics. The Human League were among the primary definers of synth music of the 1980s. A lot of today's synth-music has a long way to go to match them.

Hi m8 I am mega big Human League fan. I've just seen this ace band ie The Human League play live 4 the 19 th time. The 1st time that I saw The Human League sweet ❤️ s ie Queen Joanne Catherall ❤️ (my hero 4 the best night ever of my life . Even though the fr3 unexpected journey from Brighton railway station 2 Portsmouth on the night in question. Where I live in & play Chess 4 on the night in question. Wasn't planned) Queen Susan Sulley ❤️ and King Philip Oakey 2 r fantastic. So much better than anything that Simon Carol can ever come out with.

Shit where do I start. This is the classiest stage I've ever seen. Phil's voice is as silky and gorgeous as ever. The two front women are in complete command. They're all dressed in chic New Wave that defined ultra hip. One of the most sophisticated songs that exist. Hats so off to all of them.

It's so endearing to see such a bubblegum pop act have such a long lasting career due to fan demand. Human League got me into synth pop, and is one of the reasons I became a musician myself as a teen. While so many acts seems to fade into oblivion, HL fans refused to let them do the same, so here we are, like proud parents or something. Thank you Phillip, Thank you ladies. You are loved dearly !

The Human League is not the greatest but they are not the worse and when you consider their hits like Mirror Man,Fascination,Don’t You Want Me? Human, and The Stars Are Going Out forty years later they are vastly superior to the garbage that we have to listen to in 2021 and now 2022 case closed.

I was at the Birmingham concert, 3 brilliant acts who still cut it...The amazing Mr Oakey is 66 years old, he never stopped walking/running around the stage like someone in their 30s! Brilliant vocals, amazing visual concert......I just wish they'd done Empire State Human.....top draw

I was at Birminghm night after the 4th.......if Carlsberg did openings this is how you do it! As u say he is 66 years old he never stops runnning/walking across that stage the entire show! Such a dapper dresser and the "girls" were fab! Having said that, at a mere 65 Tom Bailey is a very cool guy! Brill nite!!

Every song an 80's classic, Tom Bailey was awesome too, went to Hull on the 6th and Manchester on the 10th, all 3 performances were amazing, The best 80's group live, O.M.D a very close second,
