your video has convinced me that the process of servicing my huma reg[in my huntsman revere and my modded hw100] is quite a simple task.thank you for de-mystifying it.

Great demo of a regulator service, I use a little scalpel if I need to cut an oring, I seem to have more control over them than a utility knife blade.

yes i do agree i should use one for the vids but i do a fair few and you get the hang of doing it with a blade

very informative as always . I hear some people add a drop of silicone oil in their fill probe from time to time to "service" the orings inside the airgun. Any wisdom to share on that?

Yes i have seen this, not tried it but it would get oil down in the reg

Saay... You guys ever encountered white polyurethane o-rings on a regulator piston instead of them common NBR o-rings? I just a while back ordered a separate regulator for a 10ci tank setup of mine, and I found out them PU rings on the piston.. Got just to wonder wether there actually would be any real difference seen in use - or do both PU and NBR work and seal as well.. Just noticed the new reg to have a slight creep also. The piston on the new reg do have a delrin tip at the sealing end, while my old reg had a domed metal piston end to seal off the tank - and I noticed it thru long term use to never have much creep at all.. Kinda just wondering if NBR rings would move better the piston inside than PU rings. Because the delrin tip do seem good. Could possibly also be the cheap stainless Bellevilles that makes the creep..dunno. But I did order new quality black Bellevilles to try out.

using good quality Belleville's is good way to go the o ring i have not seen PU in a reg before but cant see any real reason they would be better but thats one of those things that would need to tested

@@sub12airgunners Yea.. It had me too a bit wondering about the hard rings, since the good quality regs on the channel also seem just to be with basic NBR70 o-rings and just do and work as they should.. I was just curious of what answer I'd get due you guys more into PCPs snd different regs than me.. Thank you for the reply, and carry on with the good videos!👍🏻

That nylon washer is not a seal.

it is the seal between the reg piston and the reg adjuster
