Kinda weird because in the artwork he looks like ultimate Hulk than savage Hulk because ultimate Hulk has few hair remaining and semi bald while savage Hulk has a lot of hair

At the very least, Sony, Insomniac, and Marvel should give us a modern Hulk game that takes a lot of inspiration from Ultimate Destruction, Peter David’s run, Greg Pak’s run, and the good parts of Immortal Hulk. (Update) I don’t want them to do it. They lost my trust after Spiderman 2.

Well in the comics they kinda explained how this dragon was his father figure and it just slowly turned into the concept or the devil hulk a father figure Bruce didnt have.

so I've always wondered. If Devil Hulk take control would be transform like that or remain as Hulk but more intelligent? Because the fact that he's way bigger then Abomination seems horrifying in a sense.

Devil hulk does come out in Immortal hulk the comic, essentially he is the hulk with intelligence, not like scientist intelligence more like wise and able to read people well, the thing is that he is actually a bit weaker then "savage" hulk the normal child like persona we see most of the time.

He still looks like the Hulk but is described in immortal Hulk to be one of the tallest personalities along with Green Scar (the merged personality that Hulk had in Sakaar and in world war Hulk) and bulkier, he also has a higher control of his gamma radiation. But overall he just looks like a bigger and inteligent version of savage Hulk, just replace the screaming rage with quiet but still seething hatred in his overall demeanor.

Not quite. I think if Devil Hulk had killed good Hulk, Bruce Banner would turn into the evil Devil Hulk whenever Devil Hulk would please, rather than change into the destructive but loving hero Hulk. The Devil Hulk is the evil that Bruce's father inflicted on him through his abusive treatment during childhood. Bruce has bottled him up for a very long time, more so than Hulk, which has made Devil Hulk far more dangerous and definitely evil, unlike the all lovin Hulk.

@@jaidyes1 that's the Guilt Hulk actually, Devil Hulk is the represed pre gamma bomb anger Bruce had since childhood that took the form of a parental figure he needed but didn't had, the Guilt Hulk is the self hatred internalized by Bruce due Brian Banner's abuse, The confusion is understandable, both look like lizard like demons in Bruce's mind and both have been inprisioned deep within his mind.

If this were a modern day game this fight would either be a cutscene or a quick time event. I miss the hell out of this game.

Looking back, the Devil Hulk was actually a good guy, more protective of Bruce than he realized but because of Bruce’s self loathing, it sounds completely distorted. Read Immortal Hulk and you get a good understanding of what the Devil Hulk actually is

Fun Fact: The Devil Hulk is voiced by Richard Moll, the voice actor for Two-Face in Batman: The Animated series.

5:48 Everything the Devil Hulk said to the real Hulk that “you’re just a frightened child, a fractured part of Bruce’s mind, your just a little boy who wants to be loved, and you fear me” is literally what he was saying just saying about himself. He knows that all he is, is nothing but a simple dark thought that was locked in the back of Bruce’s head that was never supposed to see the light of day, that he is just trying to make sure that Bruce who is the only one that freed him from that dark prison of emptiness doesn’t ever leave him, but more importantly the Devil Hulk clealry states that he fears the real hulk more than anything (via reflecting himslef) because the REAL Hulk is the only thing that can actually *erase* him from Bruce’s mind forever. The only one capable of stopping the Devil Hulk fromdestroying the world by living and feeding off of Bruce’s mind and body like a parasite.

Bruce's perceptions colored Devil Hulk as true evil. But Bruce created him to be a protector and loving paternal figure when his own father, Brian Banner, was abusing him. Devil Hulk only wants to destroy the world because the world keeps hurting Bruce....and hurting Bruce is something he takes real personal.

The church defense mission is hard as fuck! It took me a year to beat it as a kid!

@@KingNazaru Those parts, if you look closely, are meant to mock both the left and the right. Especially the one with the security guard pining over the "good old days". The protesters are made to look like whiny sheep. The security guard is made out to seem like and entitled boomer. No one is meant to look good and it mocks both extremes. No Country For Old Men had it right about how anyone who looks back and things were better is wearing rose tinted glasses. "What you've got ain't anything new. The world's always been hard on people. It ain't waitin' on you. That's just vanity." In the end it turns out that the One Below All is the other half of the One Above All. Like the One Above All's own personal Hulk. The One Above All states, "With these hands I build, with other hands I break. I break so that I may build." It's like God can't be called good or evil because you'd need something that can compare and by definition nothing does. Good, evil, creation and destruction are facets of something greater that we, so small and limited, can never hope to understand.

The devil hulk isn’t his father it’s the manifestation of Bruce’s malice and hatred. But I would love to see the devil hulk in the mcu but first we need to go deeper into Bruce’s backstory and what happened to his father.

Yes. But that's the thing. Bruce never HAD a loving father, therefore his depiction of one is still that of a malicious and monstrous being as he never experienced such love first hand and even that seemed scary for him. That's why Devil Hulk acts so creepy and has that reptile/demonic look. In reality though, the Devil Hulk cares deeply for Bruce and other Hulk personalities, being the culmination of all their anger and frustration with the world, willing to destroy it entirely if needed to make Bruce safe and happy. The Devil Hulk is also extremely vengeful when it comes to those who hurt Bruce, having been the one who killed Brian Banner when he attacked Bruce on his mother's grave(not as a transformation though, his personality just influenced Bruce to take action and later on Bruce didn't even recall those events the same way).
