I had a request to waheguru ji. There was a test I had to take. I studied, and I did ardas to guru grant sahib before taking the test. And, I did Rehras Sahib every evening and asked waheguru ji to get into the school. I even did Kirtan Sohila every night and asked Waheguru ji to get into the school. I got my results. And before opening them I woke up at Amrit Vela did paath and went to the gurudwara to open my results. I didn’t get into the school. I am very disappointed. I have almost lost hope in ardas and hardwork. I studied a lot and did ardas twice a day. I even became a vegetarian, kept my kesh, and started wearing a Kara. But, I still didn’t get in. Kids in my class that barely studied got into the school. I don’t even know what to do. Please help me.

Everlasting Infinity What do you mean? I did ardas, and isn't doing paath taking Naam? I read Bani and did paath, I even studied. Yet, I don't know why Maharaj didn't do Kirpa

ISPOOKY ISPOOKY Take that as a test from Maharaj. Did you stop doing Paath and Ardas after that? Sometimes Maharaj tests his Sikhs. I forgot the shabad, but the meaning was something like "I give you 9 things out of 10, however when you do not receive the 10th thing, you forget me" It's good to keep in mind that Maharaj has blessed you with life, with breath, food, money and even the highest virtue of Kaljug, singing his praises. Its important to not dwell in these things, you need to also look at the practical side, maybe you needed to revise more over time? Use this situation to see what you mind have done wrong but always stay intact with Gurbani otherwise maya will swallow you

If you are doing paath (reading baani) feel it for example if you are reading bani but are somewhere else with your mind
