Yes, more Stephen King content, please! I`m also an international booktuber (from Latvia) and also a fan of Stephen King so I totally feel your struggle for trying to get his books in English easily, I can TOTALLY relate. I would never expect to find such a deal like this here in Latvia :D I know that this doesn`t change anything in my life but I`m somehow very happy for you getting this box at that price, it`s just so cool! I love how that old copy of The Talisman says "SOON TO BE A MAJOR FILM." Spielberg bought the rights as soon as the book was published, and he's finally, supposedly, working with the producers of Stranger Things to make The Talisman into a Netflix series. I really enjoyed this haul, so thank you. If you're ever looking for more Stephen King paperbacks in English let me know, I've got some that I'd be happy to ship to you across the pond.

That's so true! I am glad they're finally making it happen, it also gives me an extra motivation to read it, I just love my copy tbh. I'm glad you enjoyed this haul! I should be making maybe an updated 'collection video' soon. I would definitely be interested in more paperbacks! Would like to know what you have laying around!

For the stickers if you take a hair dryer or anything that blows hot air it should activate the sticker, and make it easier to come off! That usually works for me!

@@HugoReads definitely underrated, I’d say skeleton crew and everything’s eventual are my fav collections of stories, some are better than others but overall king writes some GOOD, creepy short stories lol

Hair dryer to remove stickers

12:56 Sticker removing advice: 1. Heat the outside sticker with hair dryer (medium heat). Don’t be too close, 15 cm maybe, so it won’t burn or damage your cover. 2. Peal slowly from the corner. Then heat the inside sticker whilst slowly pealing it. The sticker should come off. If it’s not, that’s okay. 3. Then it will leave some residue. To remove the residue, put few little drops of cajuput oil (I think this is easily found in pharmacy/drug store) on tissue (or on cotton bud for more detailed). 4. Rub the tissue slowly on the cover to remove the residue. 5. Once the residue removed, put few drops of clean water on another tissue and rub your cover. 6. Then use hair driver (cool mode) to dry the water. This only works on glossy cover. Careful on doff cover, some doff cover might transfer ink to the tissue. Careful on cloth bound cover too. I never tried on leather bound cover since I don’t buy leather based product. The cajuput oil also works to clean the covers from dirt. Well, you can use wet tissue, but cajuput oil works better. Hope these tips work for you.

40 Euros for all those books and movies???? Wow, you hit a major jackpot! Ive been reading King since 1978 (I was 12) and I have never seen some of those covers. My faves are - 'Eyes of the Dragon', 'The Talisman', and of course everyone's favorite; 'The Stand'. I dont know if you have 'goo gone' but we have that in US and it removes adhesive.

Yes finally someone who does not care about the cracked spine , for me the book should just be intact , some people make me feel so weird about it 😩also try hair drying the sticker it might melt some of the glue - overall loved this haul ( and the butterfly bookmark is gorgeous 🤓)

Carefully, take off what you can of the sticker and use a cloth with alcohol and gently brush across in a circular motion. I had to do this with a few of my books and it removed the sticky residue and film. Hope this helps.

Don't think I've read anything by Stephen King. Years ago someone gave me The Stand but I never got past the first couple pages. That box seems like an awesome deal though!

Oh you should definitely give him a chance!! I would recomend starting with either The Shining, Carrie or Joyland. Maybe IT too, but that one is very long and maybe not the greatest starting point... Haven't read the Stand myself, but looking forward to doing so, especially with the TV show coming out soon...

As a huge collector of books, lighter fluid will take the sticker off. It works. Dont use a lot .

Stephen King is one of those authors that makes you develope fears that you either never had before or didn't even know was a thing lol. If you haven't seen it King and George R.R Martin sat down and talk and stuff, it's great especially because Martin asks King bluntly "How the fuck do you write so fast" 😆

I found them on a website like eBay, but a local version (craigslist is another example, I believe). It's called 2dehands (which basically just means 'second hand' in Dutch)

Deze had ik gevonden op 2dehands! Maar meestal koop ik ze in kringloopwinkels, daar zijn ze het goedkoopst. Deze vondst was echt wel een gelukje ja hahaha Jaa de Nederlandse 'pocket editie' boekjes zijn echt lelijk meestal.. (Ik kan ni wachten tot ik the stand gelezen heb! Maar het is zooo lang dat ik het blijf uitstelle xD)

I usually use alcohol wipes but don’t rub too hard just dab it! Awesome book haul man!! I actually have every single novel and collection of short stories that he has ever published go check it out on my channel if you want! But awesome video I really enjoyed this! 👌🏽🤙🏽
