watching so many books all together in a single place gives me an extreme sensation of euphoria it's insane
The amount of willpower you have to look at $1 books and not buy any 😭😭

Ugh y’all are lucky! You can’t get books in thrift stores here, we have like 2 used stores and they suck
I’m always on the lookout for more booktubers who read horror, so I subscribed! Really nice video. I love watching other people shop for books 😂📚
bookshops like that holdsss soooo much gems, we just have to scour them bottom to top. i miss going to bookstores😭
If you place the hardcovers of the Regulators and Desperation side by side ...the dust jackets continue the landscape...its really cool!

Wow these bookshops look so fun! There are so many books, and most of them are still in amazing condition! I wish there were similar bookshops here in The Netherlands...

I'm so excited for lockdown to ease up over here in Scotland so I can do some used book shopping. thank you for letting me live vicariously!! ❤️
Currently due to the pandemic, I've been buying used books online. Before then I visited used books or FOL Used Bookstores to buy used books. I also love trading used books at Little Free Libraries.

This was cute. We are still in lockdown/quarantine here in Scotland and I’m really missing bookshops. Thank you for sharing and for bringing us along on your trip!
love Stephen Kings work! - second hand books are always the best because they are so affordable 💞✨
I love both your channels!!! So excited to see you in the book community as well.

I listened to the audio book free here on YT. I liked it! Not all that scary but a real slice of life of the kids first job at Joyland. Well written.
I was never able to go used book shopping until I moved to Dallas last year. I go to Half Price Books!
That hardcover Gunslinger is worth a lot of $$$. Should have picked it up!
If you ever come down to San Diego , Verbatim is a fantastic book store
Regulators and Despiration were so good! Definitely recommend reading regulators first.
When you panned through the dollar section I saw a book called The Ruins. It's good. Especially for a buck
@AllenFreemanMediaGuru

True “The Ruins” is good. “A Simple Plan” also by Scott Smith, is excellent!
Used books for the most part is surprisingly really in good condition
I found The Bachman Books at a used bookstore (that had Rage) for like five dollars a few years ago. It was the best find since that thing is out of print.
you're the only one who properly showcase the bookstore which makes me feel like i'm there shopping too. a lot of youtubers who go book thrifting doesn't get this
I have Goodwill's around me, but the book section is small. There really aren't any used bookstores around me, which sucks. I buy mine online, but I like browsing and not buying 3 books for $75!!! (I'm looking at you, B&N!)
@AllenFreemanMediaGuru

Starting about a year ago buying lots of books and reading a lot. Most of my books are from eBay and Mercari online. Bookstores and chain stores are way too expensive. About 5% of my collection is from B&N and Books-a-Million. Goodwill is fun! I have at least one signed found there. I started my collection getting all the hardcover early edition, Stephen King books. (The first few of The Dark Tower are expensive in hardcover).

Later and Joyland are so good!!!!
Wish we had a huge thrift / secondhand store in my town. We have an Oxfam books (in Maidstone) and a few other charity shops and it is reasonable but it is nothing like the three stores on this video. I would be in those kinds of shops for hours. The only other place at the moment, during lockdown, are online ones and they are often way too overpriced with out of print books going for insane amounts (I always wonder if anyone actually ever buys them at those prices). Looking forward to comic ,arts / conventions re-opening as they are always the best source and best priced books.
I have started reading his new Hard case Crime, its called Later. Its soooo good so far
That mythology book is my favorite
I wanna go!!
Luv Stephen King books get mine from goodwill!

I need to go to some in my area!
I like going to used bookstores besides like goodwill and stuff like that. There’s a neat place in North Carolina called Mr.K’s and wish there was a place like that around me.
I use the Oxfam bookshop online (in the UK)- really good selection!
Instant subscriber right here!! Nice video
Edith Hamilton's Mythology is fantastic! I have been rebuying copies of this classic for forty plus years. If you like this book... there is an "coffee table" sized edition that is illustrated. Loved your personality....I'm a new sub!
I'm only 14 but I love Stephen King so much I read him everyday My grandma used to read him so we have a lot of his books with the old coverage and it's everything I'm currently reading The Outsider and I have to admit that I like it better than The shining
ugh I miss secondhand stores so much... I used to live in a city and we had like 3 good ones that I would always go to but I moved to a tiny, tiny town a year ago and there aren't any bookstores (used or new!) for hours in any direction :/

My favorite from Stephen King is 'Delores Claiborne'.
glad I was not there. $1 books? I’d have gotten way too many. I just finished Mr. Mercedes. Can’t wait to read the other two in that series.
Hardback Gunslinger for $15.50!!!!!....i wonder if it's still there!!?? Lol! Great video!!
First edition will start with the number 1
I wish there was a book store near me 😢
That looks like a library the only used books I find is in a thrift store and there isnt nearly as many

Where's this book store location 👉🏿🤔📚📖
Would you argue with a cashier if when you make a request for a discount on a book in a new bookstore that has wear? They want $5.50ish and you walked out of your way in the rain to get to the store? In the past the same store refused you and you know it is business etiquette to reduce product price on a book that has been damaged?
Hi .. We are from India I am looking for used kids book shop for buying bulk(pallet) If you know, please share the name of the bookshops
I love you.

I agree ! In the 60s and 70s secondhand bookstores / markets were all over the place and you could find all kinds of books in any town, now it is reduced to a few charity stores that may have an average selection of books. I still enjoy looking around some of them but it is nothing like the old stores that used to be piled high with super cheap paperbacks etc. Perhaps those places still exist but sadly not near me. Rochester has a few decent ones but they are quite expensive and I would only buy if I was super desperate for that book. For me, comic marts (I love comic related graphic novels) are the best place to spend hours looking through old books / comics etc but until May, I don't think I will be seeing many of those. Went to Seattle, can't remember the store name, but it was huge ... the size of a M&S but just full of books and more books, I was in seventh heaven. That I would have had to lug them back to the UK restrained me from just buying everything. Guess that is why we have Amazon / Ebay etc but it never has the same joy as finding an out of the way bookstore and browsing for hours
I die when i saw Koontz, in my country the don't sell Koontz in my language
