Extend Troy’s deal and loan him out to a higher placed side in the EDV and see how he does. He is 22/23 and remember Kane really only started clicking at 23 and has never stopped. Parrot may well become a very good player… we should hold onto him

@@barnabyslater_ it’s tricky, he may be happy with £10m but I think he could be worth a lot more if we extend and loan to a higher placed team. If he did what he has done last season, for Ajax or Feyenoord we can’t lose.

We're living in a time where even an average footballer is costing 40/50 million, frightening really.

Here in Australia the National Rugby League the opening round this year going forward is 4 teams playing in Las Vegas. Seems to the way of the world.its all about the money in tv rights.Even the smallest % revenue is worth the effort financially apparently

@@barnabyslater_ a half full stadium of paying fans. Mostly Australian expats. The tv rights is where the money is. The States is such a huge market. They are putting it together for the RL opening next Season March 1 2025. Love your channel! Wait till Ange gets his squad in for some great times. We are still in awe what he did here in Brisbane those 3 legendary seasons.

If PL games are played abroad, the integrity of the competition is broken. Every team plays every other team home and away. You simply can't change that without giving someone an advantage or disadvantage.

@barnabyslater_ There's the financial benefit, bringing the PL to a wider audience... but if it comes at the expense of the integrity of the competition itself, it will surely backfire in the long run.

I like that you seem to be thinking of Eze and Maddison as potentially playing TOGETHER, as opposed to only vying for the same position, e.g. the 10 in a 4231. Some people have talked about Eze as a winger, but I also wonder about Eze and Madders as the two forward-thinking mids in a 433 with a holding DM behind them…which is of course its own issue.

Yeah I definitely want them together. We need more creativity on the pitch. I also don’t think we’d get countered on so easily if we were able to keep the ball in the final third better/for longer. Do you think we can get Eze?

I think we can get Eze, but I worry about the rumor that Palace will only let one of their three best players go...especially since it looks like Olise is going to Chelsea. We may need to do what Levy doesn't like to do...which is move fast on a transfer target.

Can Spurs go for Alvarez of Man City as a striker? He's young and very mobile,also plays couple of different positions.

There is No doubt Nbombele is a gifted and talented player a luxury player ,what the key to this player is .. who knows! I wish him well for the future. Troy parrot is playing in the Dutch league which is equivalent to our championship and is not an exceptional talent that is going to demand 8-10mil more like 3-5mil at a push. If he was top draw we would have thrown him in!

thanks for the updates, Barnaby. Good insight. Will be good to get the extra weight....Ndombele....off our books and get the right type of hungry players in for next season. Hoping Euros and Copa America can really showcase some of our targets. My fav position is the #6 and it would be great to see Ederson slot in with Bentancur and Maddison. Watched him play against Mexico the other night and was very impressed.

@@barnabyslater_ That will all come down to Ange, I'll never doubt his persuasive talents, and how much the player values PL/UCL vs PL/Europa..It's not Levy's favorite thing to do, maybe a little more so than in the past, but I think we need to show intent by getting Eze deal done early, maybe Gallagher as well, highlighting the need for a #6 to be the final piece of a new look midfield.

Bakayoko, Palhinha and Toney, solves basically all our issues. Could even just keep davies and Reguilon as backup LCB and LB respectively. Re Furich, we already have 3 left wingers in Son, Solomon and Werner now we do we another?

I get that, but just dont see the sense in spunking a lot of our transfer budget on back up defenders. Especially when vdv can cover LB and Skippy could cover RB. Davies was excellent as a LCB.

Surely Spurs will do this on 01/07, moving the hit to the next FFP year, compensated by European income?

Ndombele should be paying us for very poor average performances, surely we should put clauses in contracts to state if you play pants then contract terminate and pay us back wages 😮

If we can keep Tonali out of bet Fred he’ll be much better for us and he’s also about four be years younger.

I believe his release clause has increased by 3m due to being called up for the national team. Not much of a difference the way transfers are these days but yeah

@@barnabyslater_ I’m more in the Daniel thinking. Yes - Eze is a great player but is he better than Son or Maddison ? Also £70m is allegedly more than half of our budget ? So I’d rather see a CF for the same fee. Ange does have to decide where Son plays , for me , he’s a LW which is probably where Romano gets his “only one attacker needed”.
