uhhh i love this word hahah 😎 in german it was used a lot for something that is „too much“ to the point that its kinda embarrassing but it gets more and more positive, because you do you, who is to tell what is too much 😄 thanks a lot 🥰

Please let me know if foam clay charms feel like foam/ sponge after it dries out? Actually I am a beginner and the charms that I’ve made feels like a foam sheet.

Yes they actually do feel really spongy but they get harder over time (depending on the humidity around them) and also it depends a lot on the brand of foam clay you use, i tested a few and some get really really hard while others stay very spongy 😄

Hi! I have actually never used mod podge but I did a bit of research and I think this should be no problem to use on this clay as long as it is really dry on the outside :) But resin also works great without anything else!

Can i use this clay for jewellery making?? Since it is soft in texture after drying Bcs i want to sell it on my business

I think you could use it for some parts, but definitely not for delicate things like you could with polymer clay. It‘s a bit like very dense styrofoam 😅 Also very lightweight, so sometimes I add a bit of weight into the body like little metal parts (screw nuts or something like that) I can make a short video about how easy it is to break this material this week 😊 But if you cover it in UV resin it‘s a lot harder

Additionally, how can i make it harder, so that it can contain some weight for jewellery

I only used varnish from Fimo until now, but I‘m planning on experimenting more 😊

Yes, at the end of the video I show a little penguin where I used resin :) And it actually works really well and the foam clay is easy to coat with it!
