    I am so IMPRESSED by your integrity and transparency. Your channel is a breath of fresh air amidst the ever-growing grab for an audience here on KZread. I love this idea, but I do see this as a very labor-intensive task. I saw that you mentioned preparing another video to talk about the images. What do you think about the layout? Do you recommend Canva and setting up photo grids? The profit is fantastic, but can you scale this? 4-5 orders a day might mean an entire day of prepping artwork. Would you need to upscale all of the photos? I would like to hear your thoughts on managing volume and setting up the base layouts. Thank you again for starting this channel. I have subscribed and watched every video. I am looking forward to the next video regarding image automation.

    Thank you so much! I'll be covering everything you've asked about in an upcoming video, which I plan to release either next week or the week after. In it, I'll explain how to automate the entire process. This will significantly increase efficiency and instead of taking hours, everything will only take minutes to complete.

    I think that's where many people run into trouble. They're advised to pick a niche and might choose something broad like 'dogs,' but that's really a theme, not a niche. It's better to start with a specific product type (just one) and then create variations of that product. This approach helps to focus your efforts and better define your niche and audience.

    Another great video! These are so great for keeping the essentials in mind. It's inspiring seeing the real world results of the techniques you are showing us. It also helps to have a clear, defined margin to shoot for so the listing process is simplified. I write notes down of all your tips but I hope one day you make a video for us with the essentials for successful shops and listings listed out by priority in a checklist form so I can get rid of all these sticky notes on my desk. I still think you need a picture of your chonky boi kitty up there haha.

  • @EtsyMentor

    @EtsyMentor

    16 күн бұрын

    No, I don't think the business name is all that crucial. It shouldn't be completely off the wall, but ultimately, it's more about how you market yourself than the name itself. The brand's success isn't solely defined by its name. A great example of this would be Samsung. Samsung started their business by selling fish, not TVs.

    Etsy handles all the taxes of the sale, which is great, especially during tax season. They also don’t charge sellers any fees related to taxes on purchases.

  • @EtsyMentor

    Toilet paper usually has a pretty low-profit margin, around 5-10%. Since we all need loads of it, companies still end up making money. Crappy for us, good for them lol.
