Huge Copper Find Dumpster Diving-Solenoid Scrap to 3+KG Copper Bar- ASMR Metal Melting-Kgs Of Copper

Ойын-сауық

I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to dumpster dive a few hours in some of the sites bins. I found a lot of good melt worthy stuff but for this video ill just show what im doing today😀.
I found somethings of what i hoped would contain some copper and on further investigation i realized there was a heap of copper in each of these solenoids i found. Unfortunately i only brought half home as i was limited to space because of the other awesome things i got but ill retrieve the rest of the solenoids next time i have site access👌. I melted it all down and wasn't a fan of the 1st bar so i melted it all again the next day for better results.

HOW TO MIRROR FINISH A BAR
I start with an 80 grit flap disc on my angle grinder then I use my drill with 50 mm round sanding discs . I start with 150 grit then go through the following Grits 240-400-800 Then once I get to the following Grits I use a small squirt of WD-40 1200-1500-2000-2500-3000. The WD40 helps to lubricate the discs and stops the sanding disk binding up with the metal powder . Then after that I use my buffer wheel on my bench grinder to get a perfect mirrored finish on it👌🏻😁.

Actually Mark if I was stealing stuff I would definitely not show it where millions of people could potentially see it matey, I’m assuming you haven’t been around very long or you would know the situation. I’ll give you a quick rundown as I don’t like the idea of people thinking I’m a thief. I get 90% of my scrap off of a local industrial site where my friend is the boss. He gives me free reign over the scrap bins and I can take anything I like out of those bins on the one condition that he sees it melted down in a future video. I’m not allowed to refurbish or restore anything I take home I need to destroy it , melt it and add it to the shelves. That’s why you will see sometimes I might melt down a perfectly good motor or a heap of padlocks or brand-new lights etc . I do most of my scrap bin searches at night and that’s only because there’s less prying eyes and if the dayshift workers saw me taking stuff out of the bins there’s a good chance they would take it before I got there at night. It’s an absolute shame some of the stuff this site throws in there scrap bins but at the end of the day if I don’t take stuff out to show them on my videos it’s all going to the local scrapyard to be ripped apart and recycled so it’s a win for me👍🏻

Damn you hit the jackpot, I'm a plumber by trade so my jackpots where when we would do remodels on houses from the '50s or '60.....in those days alot of the big drain pipes were copper, and when I'd start the demo process I'd pull out garbage can loads full of copper. ..at anywhere between $350/$500 a can....nice lil bonus for those days

Yes Scarface film will be a classic for ever. When there’s nothing else to watch I’ll just put that on the TV in the background. I don’t know what it is about that film it’s just done so well👍🏻
