I purchased the same Last War set from BB have it sitting next to their Powder Mage trilogy set they issued and my copies of The First Law universe, fits perfectly BB does some amazing sets

My fav book of 2023 is The Art of Prophecy and then The Art of Destiny by Wesley Chu in the same series. The Saga is so much fun!!!! Congratulations on your CK Abercrombie…… score!!

These special editions are beautifu if you have the income to support buying them but personally, I would rather buy the standard edition and have more money left over for additional books.😄

Would be incredibly interested to know what you think of American Gods! It’s so different to everything else I’ve read from Gaiman so far, but it’s amazing how you can still tell it’s him. Phenomenal, and so weird in the best way.

I find ARCs all the time at a local thrift store. The city has a university in it. I was wondering if those books were being sent to someone there. Do you have a university where you live?

I only found out about theBrokenbinding today and they don't have the Will of the Many on there. Was that part of the subscription? I just signed up for it.

@@memorableyarns5032 It wasn't part of the subscription, but went on sale last year. Subscribers get early access before general sale - but the Will of the Many sold out in general sale straight away I'm afraid

I think the ARC you got in a charity, is from a fantasy author who lives in Southampton.

wow, what a bookmail! I‘ve read These Burning Stars and after some warmup and confusion at the start I then loved it! A surprise highlight for me. Godkiller on the other hand wasn’t for me. The story and characters didnt catcb me enough and it was too YA. Despite the beautiful cover for book 2 I won‘t continue the series.
