T- 99 agreed the Cleveland Browns were an awful team for two years stretch. It’s easy to blame the head coach because he’s the head coach however the talent pool that was put through was through management which Set the team up to fail to begin with example the 2008 Detroit Lions that went winless it wasn’t really mostly Rod Marinelli that allow the team to go 0-16 it was more of the general manager Matt Millen that allow the team to be as bad as it was. Why I won’t say the Hue Jackman is a great head coach or even a good head coach I don’t think you can really go by his send in the Cleveland Browns as that He was 8-8 with the Oakland Raiders for that one season.

  • @jasonfrost6448

In hindsight everything he says here is correct. The Browns were worse this year at the halfway point in all aspects with Dorsey's handpicked Coach Freddie Kitchens than they were at the point Hue was fired last year and Hue had a much worse team after getting rid of all the problem child receivers he had so that "He lost the team" stuff was absolute garbage. He picked Garrett over Trubisky. Even with a suspension Garrett is a 1000 times better player than Trubisky. He passed on Wentz as well who went on to be super overrated and injury prone and those picks inherited in that trade built the current team. And the guy is complete class when it comes to the Mayfield situation. I could very much see his reputation change 5 years from now to more of a Denny Green in Arizona situation where he wasn't appreciated when he was there but the further you get from those losing seasons people start to respect that the team that eventually started winning was the one he fought to build.

Hue, you overstayed your welcome in the first place when you went 1-31 over the course of two seasons with an NFL caliber roster. The dolphins just gutted their team completely and won two games just like that. The Browns were incredibly tolerant for putting up with the unprecedented amount of failure that you produced. You didn't even deserve a third season in the first place.
