You should fill the second ram slot to get dual channel capability. It will be huge upgrade on gpu performance

Thanks for the instructions. I may need to replace my battery because I spilled water on it and it won't charge when plug the power and use the laptop at the same time. The laptop is running with fully battery charged. Question, when I replace battery, do I need to do anything to make the battery usable like change any BIO or calibrate the battery?

No you not need to do anything, just replace the battery...

@@PC1948 thanks for your analysis. I am still searching for solution. Battery won't charge if I plug in the power while using the laptop. The battery can only charge if I turn off the laptop. I also ran the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics app but it said the battery is good

Hello! Thank you for the video! I have the same laptop. Today, a little water touched the battery socket. When I plugged the charger, only Power light turns on, then quickly it turns of. The battery stopped charging! What should I do? Thanks again!

Take the computer to a technician ASAP...

When I do for a client (not for me), I disconnect the battery first. The flap was probably scratched - I am pedantic :-)

You can unplug the CMOS battery it is will reset the bios
