Update: after about 4 months this hose started to leak and I had to return it

Rubbish. Mine is brand new and I have taken it apart twice and the connection inside the reel is still leaking. I shall be returning it.

That started to occur here too, 2nd Hozelock system I get and fails :/

check the o ring inside the hoze, mine is deformed brand new.
