    Good to see a new video from you. I've enjoyed your bow reviews in the past, and am hopeful you can do it again this year whilst prepping for that bison hunt. That being said, I can understand if you wait until AFTER your January hunt for the majority of the reviews. You need to get dialed in for that hunt. Good luck!

    Good to see you back,Great Video. I'm looking to buy the Ventum pro 33. It just sits in the hand nice and balanced. I noticed the 30 wants to tip forward. I have a rear stabilizer on my hyperforce,really helps counterbalance the quiver. That drawcycle is just awesome.happy hunting

    I did notice that all of my 2022 Hoyt’s had left tears at center shot. I swapped the shims on the top cam and it corrected the issue. I’ve found Hoyt seems to like 2 cm for CS

    Did you do a video on your setup? Speed test, weight of bow etc?Really love my 70lb bow but 80 would be better if it can shoot my 505 grain arrow flatter and faster. Cheers love the content and giving back to us veterans it means alot!

    For what it's worth man, if you are seeing the riser and cables in your sight picture, maybe play around with your draw length or check your form and play a bit with that to see if you can't clear it up.

    Shim your cams to the left that will give a right tear with then you can move your rest to the left witch should fix your problem I've had that issue with other bows but not this one

    We'll just wanted to say good luck on that bisson hunt hopefully you are successful with some video. I have to agree with you on the rx7 ultra. Great bow smooth draw, I love mine. I have had the same problem with the pieces chipping off, honestly not exactly a fan of it. The only other problem I had was after I had it sighted in I must have bumped it some how or the fuse string had stretched and put my sight off low left. Other than that it has been quite the solid bow so far.

    Lefty here. Looking at the RX7 ultra and the Phase 4 33 both fully loaded for the same price. I don’t have a place to shoot them side by side. Any recommendation?

    So does the ultra have a really noticeable softer/easier draw then the rx7? I have an rx7 and am having shoulder issues due to a prior shoulder injury. Im shooting my rx7 at 60lbs and its only used for deer and bear. Do you think a rx7 ultra would give me a little shoulder relief over the regular rx7 both set to 60lbs? Im also a short draw guy at 27.5" draw.

    I also have the ultra and i can tell you that its the smoothest draw ive ever felt in a bow. I have mine set at 85% let off and I could hold my draw forever if I needed and I have pretty bad scoliosis

    You gotta really want the cool factor of carbon to buy a RX-7 over a VTM or a Ventum Pro. VTM 34 is amazing for $700 less! If money is zero issue, then for sure RX-7 (and Ultra) are fantastic as well.

    Great bow you have. I have the v3x 29 in granite I just got it in last week. I have Gas strings in flo orange wt gun metal servings. Total peep tech grip for mathews have the hamskea epsilon rest made for mathews. And i love it. I have the spot Hogg fast Eddie xl wt a shrewd optum 35 mm scope wt a shrewd 4 power lens and shrewd rod. Conquest control freak pro stabilizers wt the smacwrap tech a 12 in the front and a back bar wt 9 in the rear.and the Mathews low pro 1pc quiver I am going to my archery club Friday to shoot it in. It only has like 15 shots on it. It is fast and quite and dead in the hand. Nice review

    “Dead in hand” “shootability” “tunable” are all things bow manufacturers are saying in the industry. I think Elite was the first one to come up with “shootable” as a term for their bows. I swear, bow manufacturers are not only trying to out-do each other in products, but also stupid terms and phrases 😂. Every bow is “shootable”. That’s what makes it a weapon 🧐🙄

  • @keith3658
    @keith3658 Жыл бұрын

    No vibration, dead in the hand. That's the most overrated part of any bow review. I keep hearing friends saying I would bought brand X but it had the tiniest bit of vibration when I shot it bare bow. That shouldn't be a concern. Can you hit with it should be priority. Every KZread reviewer "it's dead in the hand" or "it had a little vibration". And then everyone is worried about speed. If it has a 3" brace height and shoots 400fps it would sell like crazy. Would it be so unforgiving that if you blink your eye to hard you'd miss by 4'? Probably. Would most hunters care? Nope all about fps.

  • @timbow50

    @timbow50

    Жыл бұрын

    So many care about speed. A deer can out move an arrow at 300+ fps at 20 yards. Videos prove that. A bow that can be drawn smoothly under control and holds steady is way more relevant than speed. IBO events under certain rules allow these speeds but the ASA has speed limits of 290 fps in certain classes. Speed usually means more noise and vibration because generally people are using lighter weight arrows.

    My big complaint is this bow is a pretty slow, low energy bow. Okay for small stuff, but I wouldn’t use it on larger tougher animals
