Loved it! Loved it! Two of my favorite plant parents. Really enjoyed this Q&A! Nice tips! I've learned after starting my hoya collection in 2018 that it's about trial and error. So much is based on the home environment, poor soil that plant was purchased in & sellers environment, watering issues and, realizing thinner leaf plants need more water than thick succulent ones, so much more. Ive learned to give my hoyas individual attention and treatment. Thank you for you guys insight, it was lovely watching you! Look forward to your next videos👍! Dee, LI, New York

I'm' sure hoping leca is a good match for my lifestyle - I get big chunks of time randomly to take care of a lot of plants all at once, then no time for a long time to take care of them at all. Soil plants have been very difficult as dried out soils of various densities causes a lot of root death limiting my success to plants that can handle dry soil and/or regrow easily. But even syngoniums can handle only so much before they say Nope. Leca has been allowing me to just top off until I have that chunk of time over several days to deeply care for all of my plants. Planning to convert a lot more of my plants in 2023. Really looking forward to rooting hoya cuttings and finally giving them consistent moisture and stopping the leaf drop regrowth cycle.

I am so glad you like it! Yes Sydney Plant Guy was my first guest. He is a friend and had to be the first. Amy is the second and she is awesome! I really love how calm she is! I seemed almost manic next to her calm 🤣🤣🤣. I love her calm energy! The plan is to keep doing more of these as long as I can get people to collaborate and do it with me I will keep doing them.😍

Speaking of grow lights. Some of these grow lights are that by name only. The actual intensity and light spectrum is lacking on most. I have a PAR meter that helps me dial in the best intensity.

My hoyas are attacked by aphids thank God they don't have mealy bugs
