you got lost in an abandoned castle, so you decide to wander about and stumble upon a ballroom. you look around, watching as the sunlight exposes the flying dust before finally entering to inspect. "woah-" you beam, then a charming boy cuts you off and asks, "would you like to dance?" you jump at the sudden voice, and by instinct, you turn around and raise your fist, but you stop for a moment. he looked as if he had no harmful intentions, and you almost felt bad. you clear your throat and stand up straight. "sorry, may i ask who you are?" you raise an eyebrow, feeling skeptical. "does it really matter?" the boy smiles politely, with a hint of playfulness. he reaches his hand out infront of you, and after a moment of hesitation, you acquiesce in the decision and take his hand. he starts waltzing in a pace you can easily catch up on. you try mimicking and memorizing his moves until you got used to them. better safe than sorry, right? music starts fading in. "do you hear that?" you glance at the boy. "keep dancing, it wont do you any harm." he assures. you nod and proceeded to waltz with him. _"huh. not as bad as i expected."_ you thought. as time went on, you started getting used to it, even started growing fond of him, but you also grew tired. and as if your mind was just read, the music abruptly stops. you step back and smile a bit awkwardly. he nods in response. you sit on a dusty chair and sigh tiredly. the boy waves at you, and being the polite person you are, you wave back. he disappears in a blink of an eye, causing your eyes to widen in shock, but at the same time, it was expected. you already miss him, since that was the first ever interaction you've had ever since you got lost in the forest. even though that guy definitely isn't human, you still craved for someone to talk to. it was getting dark, and since you've ventured long enough to find shelter, you decide to look for a bedroom to sleep in. you make your way to the next floor, holding onto the dusty, golden railings, just incase you slip. you find 3 doors, all are white, but hard wood. you walk over to the middle door and twist the golden handle. inside, you find a bunch of luxurious furniture, but your eyes were immediately drawn to the king sized bed. you walk towards it and let yourself land on the mattress, which was a very bad idea. the bed was dusty, so dust went flying around you, causing you to cough and frantically wave your hand around. you sit up with an exasperated look plastered on your face. you stand up, dust yourself off, and decide to use up all your remaining energy on cleaning the whole bedroom. "of course. why do i have to be so stupid?" you mumble under your breath as you remove the sheets. it takes you about 30 minutes to clean everything, because the room was unsurprisingly very dusty. it clearly hasn't been used for awhile. you still decide to stay there for the night, completely ignoring the possibilities of you getting possessed by a ghost. you just needed some rest. you lie on the bed and sigh in relief. feeling how stiff your body is, you decide to stretch a bit before finally deciding to have your well-deserved rest. as soon as you woke up, you thought about the interaction you had with the strange boy last night. you miss his touch, and the way he smoothly swayed with you, but of course, you'd never admit it out loud. not even to yourself. you get curious and decide to head back to the ballroom. *tap tap tap.* you rush to the stairs, watching your feet step on each stair tile to reduce the chances of tripping and painfully rolling your way to the first floor. having memorized atleast a bit of the castle's layout from the bedrooms to the ballroom, you head to your desired destination with ease. biting your lip, you step in and walk to the center of the ballroom. you look around, feeling hopeful and a bit nervous. suddenly, a familiar voice speaks behind you.. "would you like to dance?" (^ sept 1 2023 revamp :3)

Pov when you are a lone duchess remembering your husband the first time you met.. before the war and uprising. Pov when the solitary confinement is long forgotten but so was the name of that boy you fancied. Everything is getting colder and darker.

for me, this dark version fits better with you just sitting down inside your own chateau. its just you... the place is well lit of grandeur chandeliers, candles, the great fireplace, and the dim moonlight that seeps into the atrium of your mansion. your environment is tranquil and peaceful but inside you - your soul is battling a war that any side of you cant ever win. youre just in pure conflict, in contrast with the beautiful house you live in

POV: You were walking in a ball gown through the abandoned Royal Mansion/Castle to go to the ballroom. Not to dance tho, but to look inside the ballroom. You were in a ball gown to not disrespect the place / room . You knew it wasn’t proper to go in something like that without being dressed for it. By the time you get there you hear the music from inside (this audio) still playing as if there was people in there dancing , talking , drinking. You open the huge gate to enter the ballroom. When u open it a Beautiful/ Handsome tall person greets you saying “Why hello there! May I ask for your name and age? Only say it if you feel comfortable saying it tho.” You say “ Oh hello ! My names Y/N my age is 18!” They responded with “Oh you have such a beautiful name so unique and modest. Sorry I didn’t say my name earlier. Its actually C/N (Chosen name) and I’m also 18 .” You start to feel a pinch of blush poking your cheeks. They notice and they thought it was rude to keep you waiting there so he says “ Well Y/N , would you care to have a dance with me?” They bow holding they’re hand out and looking at you for your reply. You say “Of course I’ll dance with you!” You put your hand out to grab his. They grab your hand and bring you in the ballroom to dance. Once You realize that you’re gonna dance with the person of your dreams.. You blush so much that they actually start thinking that you’re in love with them. After dancing you’re so tired you accidentally fall into their arms. And they’re so shook that they stiffen up but soon after they calm down a little bit. When they look to see if your awake they realize that you aren’t awake . All tho they r a ghost they have the power to turn human and be immortal. If they fall in love their partner will also be immortal. They take you to a clean and nice room with a ing sized bed for the both of you. They change and then realize they also have to change you so you will be comfortable while sleeping. They blush so hard they almost faint. Soon after they calm down they slowly change you into a sleeping gown. They realize how much they love you and care for you as if they were married with you. After sleeping you wake up. They have already woken up and made you breakfast to eat in bed. You blush as they give it to you since they changed you and made food for you. After you eat you go and change you tell them so they won’t walk in on you. As you’re changing they went to get your dishes but forgot you were changing. You noticed them and covered up as much as you could. They say “ O-Oh my I’m so so sorry I forgot you were changing! I mean it I wouldn’t just walk in if I remembered ! “ they close their eyes and walk out trying not to bump into anything. After you change and do your hair and makeup you go to find them . You see them sitting on the sofa reading something . You say “I’m done C/N (chosen name)!” They respond with an “alright would u like to do anything? Take a stroll in the garden or?” You say “Let’s go walk in the garden seems nice there.” They grab your hand and walk you to the garden. You guys talk while walking there. After a while you guys get to a beautiful place with some seats and a table. You guys sit there for a bit. Soon after you keep walking through the garden . After almost 1-3 minutes of walking you guys enter a this unique place/room with beautiful decorations everywhere. They take you up to a bench for you to sit and relax after a bit. They say “Y/N.. I think I’m in love with… you..” they blush white saying it. You responded saying “ O-Oh- if I’m being honest.. I’m also in love with you.You’re just so nice and respectful to me..” Also blushing just like them.. they say “Will you be mine..?” You’re shocked they even said that. You responded with “O-Of course I will!!” They responded saying “May I ..?” You say “Sure I’ll allow it!” They scoot towards you.. they grab both of your hands and kiss you.. The kiss had you breathless. 4 Years later you guys got married and had 2 kids. You guys still live in the castle with your beautiful family. You guys are known now as the newest Royal family in centuries. Since all are immoral in this new Royal family there’s always balls every weekend people who have signed a special paper go to the balls every weekend. Whenever I was sad he had this big smile that made my heart rise, but leaving my crush on him apart ,he was always for me he used to call me shishi. It was my 15 birthday ofcourse he was invited i felt so pretty in that princess dress, he was my first dance and he told me that i was the most prettiest girl he has ever seen, the night passed and you know i just had fun with all my friends and stuff, before cutting the cake he told me to meet him outside of the house he was like really nervous if i can say it like that he told me: I have to tell you something, you know that you are like a little sister to me and i love you so much so i guess is time that i tell you that- The phone started ringing and sadly he got to go he had a trip that night so he couldn't finish the sentence he wanted to tell me. After that i always call him all day. Obviously I missed him so much. i remember exactly her mom called me and her words were devastating he told me that he died of pneumonia. My heart was broken. I had a really bad depression after that I felt like I lost my whole world. I'm 16 years old now and the fact that His words at my party before he died could have been a confession to me, it just makes me cry myself to sleep. What if he actually liked me back? "howl should be here any second." you silently whispered, while your heart slowly fills itself with serotonin which could be heard kingdoms away. facing away your thoughts, you realized one of your maids is walking past you. "anastasia, please have the tea ready until howl's arrival." you say, as she nods and heads back to the kitchen. _great, everything should be ready and in the right place._ "hello there, my princess" a familiar voice was heard right next to your left ear, as you feel two hands gently placed on both of your shoulders from the back. you turned around, just to see the tall gorgeous prince. he had his long blonde hair gently covering his eyes, but not enough to hide the deepness of them. the deepness that would be enough deep for you to fall in love with him all over again. "howl.. you're here right on time." you spoke, as he flashes you with his breath-taking smile. _god, you're so pretty._ "i always have time for you, my majesty." he says as he plants a soft yet sweet kiss on your forehead, sweet enough for you to feel his magic butterflies in your stomach.

Imagine.. 70 years ago, this song played in the room where you and your husband was dancing all night long until the sun shines.

Story thing:) People dressed in all different colours swirled around him. He watched as the women's dresses flowed and the men's feet worked quick across the ballroom. The man stared at the person seated before him. Oh how beautiful he is. He was clad in a deep blue, velvet suit adorned with silver trimmings and white lace. Mid-length, black hair swayed gracefully as he looked to the women beside him. He envied his grace and his charm. And how women seemed to flock to him whenever he took a breath. The man stood from his seat, having enough of envying a man whom he did not even know properly. It was then that his heart stopped entirely. The moment that the dashing man locked eyes with him and made his way closer to him. "A dance?" He asked, his voice was deep and rumbled in his chest. "I suppose." The other responded. That's when he realised that the bitter feeling was indeed not envy, but rather a blooming crush. I'm not very good at writing, but i enjoy it and had to let the scene unfold and be known:)

I have another idea, think about it. A prince who lives alone, no parents, brothers, sisters or any family. Living a depressing life, surrounded by royal people who he doesnt know, falls in love on a royal dance party with a charming handsome man, its exactly 1AM, everyone left, exept for the prince and the man, this man, wich's descendence is unknown, invites the prince to dance. But there is no one to play any music, the prince says. Then, at the corner of the room, this song starts playing, the prince and the strange man keep dancing all night. when the guards woke up, they saw the prince at the corner of the room, completely dead. Seems like, the strange man, was the death itself. The prince had lived a terrible and sad life, so the death came to give him a happy end of his life.🐙

imagine It's 1956 and you used to have a husband but he died of the war , he was one of the best soldiers there. You were cleaning the house because it was dirty , and all of sudden you dropped something you went to go get it and when you picked it up you went to dust it off because it had dust on it. When you opened it to your shock it was the pictures of your late husband. You were so shocked that you started crying because all of the memories flash back when he first met you. When you first met him you were at a highschool ball / party and he was the popular kids and he saw you there sitting alone at a table. He asked do you want to dance with him. You said " of couse kim taehyung (the name of your husband). When you finished dancing you went to the dance floor to sing something. When you started singing taehyung was shocked and he actually fell in love with you and he knew that you were the one that he was going to marry you.

The clouds were a dark shade of grey from all the smoke that had been coming from the fires. Everyone was dying... Children were screaming and people were running in all directions. Chi-Cane stood on the wooden platform of the moving castle as a small smile crept upon her face. A tall man with oil black hair, some of it covering his left eye as he slowly wrapped around Chi-Cane's waist. 'Isn't it beautiful?' 'Ray, you set the whole town on fire... of course it beautiful.' Step by step, you are two begin to dance (I have the dance between Hermione and Harry in mind) . You are starting to enjoy it and forgot time exist. The more you dance, more the time pass and you disappear like you never exist in this wonderful world

*Walking in the long hallways, you hear a faint sound of the music coming from a room. Curious, you walk to the sound. Leading you to a room. Subconsciously, you open the big doors.* *You were met with a spacious room. There were 16 people, 15 playing the orchestra, and one standing there.* *The door made a large creak, getting a person's attention.* *You recognize the person who looked at you as the prince of this castle.* _"Apologies, my lord. I did not wish to disturb you."_ *you apologize and bow to him. You were about to turn your heel and close the door until you heard him call you.* _"No, please do stay."_ *The prince tells you, and then you look back at him. You saw his eyes shine and lips slightly apart. His hand was lifted, as is he wanted to reach out for you.* _"What would my services be at your aid your highness?"_ *You ask and placed your hands in front of you, clasping them on top of each other.* _"Would you like to volunteer to have a dance with me?"_ _"My lord, I am merely a maid."_ _"It does not matter."_ _"Is that an order?"_ _"It is a choice."_ *You can only hear the music playing as you were both silent. You were hesitant for a moment and thought things out. Then, you have decided what to do. You step forward and walk towards the waiting prince. The prince smiles ever so softly and extends a hand to you as you were walking closer. You extend your hand to grab it.* *Then you both started to dance, you forgot the duties that a maid was supposed to do. The prince forgot to attend his daily meetings too.* _"I will be punished for this..."_ *You murmur as you realized what will the consequences be.* _"Fear not, for I shall be with you."_

I wasn’t even a fan of the movie, but my god… the soundtrack is the perhaps one of the most beautiful I’ve ever had the pleasure of listening to.

a story i made abt this song lol as kids in the 19s would make rumours of Howls castle on how the ghosts would wail and howl in the castle to get out, to free their souls. Most children would go in and never come back until three little girls decided to go to Howls castle to see if the rumours were true, with their light skirts and elegant shoes the silently walk into the castle uninvited, the castle was creepy, dusty and big enough to go on for miles as they felt shivers down their spins they heard a howl and wail, they knew that was the ghosts. The children kept calm and started walking up the stairs to have a look around, from the corner of their eyes they could see ghosts of the dead, but they STILL kept calm and went slower, one more wail and one of the little girls squeaked in fear which trigged from ghosts to their corner of eye to right in front of them, the ghosts looked as if they just cried and they wailed and screamed ''HOWLS CASTLE SET ME FREE,''

How is this so underrated I always listen to it and it takes to another world

At night you are in a forest while you was walking ,you saw a castle you felt the excitement of exploring and started running trough the castle .You opened the door entered the mansion quietly without thinking the smell of dust and nature burned your nose a little .you heard a piano noise travelling around the mansion you were kinda scared and brave at the same time .you walked further and further while the gorgeous noise of violin.the music guided you till the end of the castle .you didn't even noticed who was playing the music when you got out of the mansion just felt of excitement.

POV: You were the last against the noble family, but a boy, a prince! Has come up to you, "may I have this dance?" He had asked, You hear the music fading in but his charming face could fool anyone, so of course you agree, you look into his stargazing eyes as you step on his toes and follow the step pattern. In a matter of time you start feeling this emotion, love. What you hadn't realize yet was... He had already disappeared in your arms. Long long ago, he died in your arms and sang you this song to sleep. When you had woken up, he was gone. This was all your imagination all along, so you sob waiting for someone to take you away from this cruel world.

Now Back to the mansion... you got into your big Hall thats at the entrance of your mansion, it is big and magnificent Like the Rest of your beautiful big fancy Dark mansion. You Turn the music loud and Begin to dance elegantly in your beautiful, unique black and Grey Wedding Dress and your Dark black headwear. The Tiny and Teenager children from the end of the street climb Up to your Window to See what youre doing. The are astonished when they See how beautiful your dance is and how such a lonely Person can be so Happy in their Life. The children are the children of your First Love and his wife, Hes now happily married With. You Always would scold Them If they ever Just came near to your mansion But now you dont Care at all that they are at your Window watching. You Just continue to dance and throw the Bunch of White Roses in your Hand to the Kids so that they Catch it. You dance and Begin to Walk through your whole mansion and Begin to laugh histerically . Youre finally Happy With Just being yourself and being Alone,you Went crazy in a way that actually got you Happy...

Where is he? You lost him in your castle. You slept right next to him. Again, where is he? Suddenly you find an old and moldy entrance to an abandoned Room. Without any hesitation you walk in. There he is. Making you. Because none of this was ever real. You werent real. He. Made. You!

Feels like walking through ouran private academy 100 years later when its abandoned

you watch as the sky changes colors; the melodies of what you hear creating a canvas of colors and feelings. you feel numb- but this time, it’s not a bad numb. it’s almost like the music is filling you with such emotion, your brain cannot even process the waves of excitement. you feel the sad, blue wind blow into the anger of the reds. The red bleeds into the green, as the grass starts to sway happiness. These colors move around your vision as if you’re visioning heaven. you feel at peace. the chaos of the colors, the emotions, calm you. and then you come down as the music ends, the dullness of your mind making you realize you’re still in your psych ward bedroom.
