Robin did great for her first roast.

So many people dis Robin on countless YT clips. I think it needs to be remembered that sidekicks are not supposed to upstage the headliner. Ed McMahon, Andy Richter, the fictional Hank Kingsley, and even Robin (if you want to delve that far), are there as a security blanket to the star. It does not matter if she is not terribly talented. It matters that she is there to help Howard. If she dies/quits before he does, it will be his last day on radio as well.

Robin had decent delivery, but several people wrote her jokes for her. If I remember right she didn't have one of her own.
