@Adolfo Well Z press press works quite well. Also what helped me catch the technique better was pause at the top in balance, added 5 kg in one cycle just by being more balanced through the movement...

Hey Brian. I have a question for you... If humans have a limit to their relative strength, and if the stronger you are the more non stop you can rep your own bodyweight (or in the case of handstand push ups, 90+ percent of your bodyweight) Then doesn't it make sense that it's possible to increase your overhead press strength by simply increasing the reps of your *deep handstand push ups* ? Because I was 230lbs when I could do 19 deep handstand push ups, perfect form.. And by then I could already do a 255lbs strict press, my first ever military press session in life. Now I am thinking of bulking to 300lbs and maintain the same rep count, 20 reps, for deep handstand push ups. Thanks. You are a beast btw.

If I only care about boosting my deadlift and overhead press(give zero f about squat and bench) should I still do separate days for those for muscular balance or is it better to double down on the ones I care about? Any input or suggestions is greatly appreciated as I find myself completely puzzled by the information available.

Brian, two of the best current strength coaches are against OHP because they feel the damage it can cause to the shoulders is not worth the benefit of the exercise. Obviously you don't feel this way. Can you please explain why you feel they are not a risky exercise and why most people should do them if they are healthy enough to. Thanks!

koban4max I know what you are saying, to lose weight you need the deficit. However in the video Brian is giving alternatives to the usual methods of cardio which most people hate and won't do. Plus you could argue the fat loss is the bonus, as the main purpose is building work capacity and conditioning.
