    Hi Brian thanks for your content mate, I am doing more strong man since seeing your videos and Elliot Husle's , I never got such good results as doing static farmers carries, which I guess just means I stand there holding the handles looking at the minute hand on the clock, second hand to be more specific , it is hard but awesome. Here's the kicker I'm 57 years old and I do get sore the next day after dealifts and farmer hold I shall call them, I think I need to warm down and up but I think I need a more comprehensive routine , if you have any advice on this it will be much appreciated mate ., heaps of respect from Adelaide Australia.

    Thought i would throw in a conditioning workout I did recently that I think fits the bill for this kind of thing: Do a set of pull-ups (stronger guys can do weighted ) Front carry a sandbag back and forth once Pull-ups Run the sandbag back and forth twice Pull-ups Run the sandbag back and forth three times Continue this until you can’t get the sandbag back and forth as many times as you want, then pyramid back down Finish at 10 minutes. I feel like you can really make this suck either with choice of weight or with the speed you run that bag Great video as always Brian!

    My core’s feeling weak, and is something I neglect due to a few injuries of course, so for three months starting eight days ago, here’s my routine: Seven day’s per week target, but if I want a day off from time to time I’ll take it. Straight Olympic Barbells only, with weights of course, no dumbbells, cables or machines. One hour per workout, starting the first set with just the bar for 15 reps and working up to a minimum of five heavy weighted reps per set, so no silly overloading for one rep max’s and to hopefully avoid further injury, doing as many sets of the same exercise as I can fit into the hour. I’ll let you know how I get on. Day 1 - Bench Press Day 2 - Squat Day 3 - Standing Shoulder Press Day 4 - Deadlift Day 5 - Close Grip Bench Day 6 - Biceps Curl Day 7 - Bent over Row

    Hey Brian, I have a serious question, I'm needing to know what the minimal amount of sleep I need to grow and still stay healthy, I'm running into an issue where the only time I have to lift is in the morning before work due to the fact that I have a full time job, kids, church duties and go to school. What would you say is "enough" sleep, I understand the more sleep the better but lots of sleep just wont fly right now.

  • @MailmanMuscle

    @MailmanMuscle

    4 жыл бұрын

    Dylan Pippin I’m not Brian, but sleep is a big challenge for me these days, mostly due to family and work obligations. I’ve found that there is a distinct difference in how I feel and perform - mentally and physically - on either side of the 6 hour mark. The lower I go below 6 hours, the worse it gets, so I try to keep 6 hours as a baseline. I don’t get many chances to sleep in, but when I do, I take them.
